Chapter twentythree - pregnant

Zack's POV

"So? What do you need me for?"

I just stared at Nikkie, afraid that I would say something stupid.

"Fine, I'll just leave then."

"Wait what? No no no. Wait."

Nikkie sat back down in the chair and I started asking her every question in my mind about Trixie. After a while, Nikkie was starting to actually smile instead of giving me that death glare she usually gives me.

Trust me, you never wanna get that death glare.

After a while Blake came in again and was about to sit beside Nikkie but then he turned around and sat on the other side of my bed.

The tension is really rising and I decided to clear the air.

"What's going on with you two?"

They both mumbled 'nothing' and looked down.

"Really? Do I need to use my alpha tone on you Blake?"

Both of their heads turned towards me and Blake stared at me with wide eyes and after a couple of seconds he started talking.

"I've might have been a dick towards Nikkie..."

Nikkie huffed.

"A dick? Just that? How about a freaking hypocritical and egotistical piece of shit!?"

Nikkie gave him a glare that made me want to crawl under the blankets I had....

Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea?

"See Zack what I have to deal with? She was fine with me just yesterday when Trixie woke up and now she's all mad again for NOTHING!"

The mention of Trixies name made my heart clench... Where is she and why did she run away?

"You wanna know why?"

I just stared in between them because I was scared to say something.

Wait, why the fuck am I scared?

"Please Nikkie enlighten me how I made you mad from out of nowhere?"

"Because you acted like you didn't talk shit about Trixie when you met her!! You didn't even tell her that everything was her fault because she chose to lie about something, which by the way I should've done too! Me and the girls made an oath to keep it a secret in the beginning of every mission THEN show ourselves. Trixie is just a girl that keeps her word, which I, to be quite honest, regret not doing it because NOW I'm letting you hurt me like I'm some pice of shit and tell me to fuck off and shit. You only like to play games because that's what you do best. I bet Zack here didn't even know that you knew about us all and that Trixie was a werewolf huh?"

What?

I turned to looks at Blake but he didn't dare to look at me so I turned to look at Nikkie again.

She wanted to cry I can see that, but she covered it up and her face got expressionless. Before Blake could say anything to her, she continued.

"She said that she could count on you but of course you couldn't care less huh? You and Zack are just the same. You only care about yourselves when shit goes down. This is what Trixie warned me about but I didn't listen because I love you but that nice side is over."

I couldn't even say anything because it was the truth.

Without another word she walked out of the room leaving me and Blake in silence.

"Look Zack..."

"No, don't you even start. I get that you did that to me where you didn't tell me what you knew, but to Trixie, really? And you got mad at me for hurting her? She counted on you man!"
