Paige Cooke's death was ruled a suicide despite Kendall's suspicions that she had been killed. Following her death, she moved to Central City where her cousin lived following the Particle Accelerator explosion and joined the police department.
There, she met Barry Allen, the friendly and socially-awkward CSI, who just so happened to be the one to help Kendall finally face the loss of her mother.
