[The Theatre And It's Double]

The next scene was lexis first high. She had fallen asleep and Rue and Fezco drew a beard on her face with marker. And then the conversation she had with Rue on their walk home.

"I think Jade used drugs to push away all the bad thoughts. But it did the opposite for me. All I could think about were the bad thoughts. The things that could go wrong. The people I could lose. And the million and one reasons why I'm not good enough." Lexi said.

"When Hallie, Marta, and Phoebe entered ninth grade, they became inseparable." Lexi said as the stage lights came on and cheerleaders ran out and did the cheer routine that Cassie, Maddy, and Natalie did in freshman year.

The routine brought back memories for Maddy, Natalie, and Cassie. When they got to high school, they heard people talking about how you always lose friends, and you won't leave high school with the same friends you went in with.

So Maddy, Cassie, and Natalie made a promise to stay with each other all four years.

Everyone cheered when the routine was over except Maddy, Cassie, and Natalie.

"When I first met Marta, she made me nervous. I had never seen anyone as sure of themself as her. Because of that, I didn't really trust her. Until her parents started fighting all the time and she basically moved in with us for a few months." Lexi said as the scene changed.

Marta was doing lexis makeup. "Do you like it?" Marta asked, "I feel stupid." Lexi said looking in the mirror.

"What? Everyone feels stupid. Who cares?" Marta said, "You feel stupid?" Lexi asked "Yeah, I did. And then, I just chose not to feel stupid." Marta said.

"I don't know if... I can... really get to that point." Lexi said "90% of life is confidence. And the thing about confidence is no one knows if it's real or not." Marta said and went to lay down on the couch.

"Okay, okay, I'm not running a brоthеl here. Alright, girls? It's time for bed." Suze lookalike said walking into the room "Good night, surgery pops." Suze lookalike said then walked out of the room turning off the lights.

"Marta." Hallie called "Yeah?" Marta said, "You can sleep in my bed if you want." Hallie said, Marta got off the couch and walked over to the bed and climbed in beside of Hallie "My parents used to fight all the time, too, so I get it." Hallie said and Marta started crying "You can stay here as long as you want." Hallie said.

Natalie looked over at Maddy and saw her crying and grabbed her hand.

"You don't have to not be friends with her because of me you know that right?" Natalie whispered in her ear.

Maddy nodded, "but she did you wrong. I don't want a friend who does something like she did to you." She said and sniffled, Maddy and Natalie turned around when they heard the door open and saw Cassie walking out.

"Jake and Marta's relationship was our first impression of love." Lexi said as Jake and Marta came on stage and Jake put a coat on Marta.

"No one's ever loved me as much as you." Marta said with and emotionless expression "No one ever will." Jake said as they shared a kiss.

"But every relationship has its cracks. Some bigger than others." Lexi said walking out on to the stage.

"The summer before senior year for Marta, Pheobe, and Hallie. Pheobe and Jake slept together when Jake and Marta broke up. Then later Jake and Pheobe got together themselves." Lexi said and Pheobe and Jake were on the bed making out.

"Jake we shouldn't do this." Pheobe said in between kisses "why?" Jake asked kissing her neck "because Marta's my best friend." Pheobe said "we're not together we're not doing anything wrong. I'm not cheating on her, and you're not sleeping with her boyfriend." Jake said.

but it didn't get too far before the curtains closed. Natalie assumed lexi knew it went something like that cause she had talked to Cassie about it and Lexi probably had heard.

Lexi didn't want to include how Natalie had got pregnant she felt like just mentioning how Nate and Natalie's relationship started was enough.

Natalie and Nate looked at the stage awkwardly with wide eyes. Especially since Maddy was right beside them. Natalie glanced over to Maddy and saw she looked disgusted. She obviously wasn't angry. It's just not something she wanted to see.

When the lights came on the football team was working out. The way they were working out would make anyone suspicious. Jake and Pheobe were in the front talking.

"Alright, babe. Time for me and the boys to work out." Jake said the audience laughed besides Natalie, Cassie, and Nate "you're all idiots. I literally hate all of you." Pheobe said.

"No, you don't." Jake said, "don't I?" Pheobe said "Alright, c'mon. Get outta here. Run along, babe" Jake said slapping her ass as she walked away.

"Come on, let's pump some iron, boys!" Jake said as upbeat music started playing.

"Hey, Paulie. Could you rub a smidgen of oil on my back? can't reach. My pecs are getting too freaking big." Jake asked, "Anything for you, Jake." He said hitting Jake's chest "Hey, Jake. Your body's fantastic. Can I help?" Another football member asked.

The locker doors open to reveal the rest of the "team" in each one of them. The crowd cheered when they started humping each other.

Natalie saw Nate's fist clenched and reached over and grabbed his hand and handed Serenity to Maddy so she could try to calm him down.

She knew why this was in the play it was because everyone found out about the dick pics on his phone.

The dance had a bunch of sexual moves mainly to and from Jake. Natalie sat there upset. It was good. But she felt like Lexi could have toned it down a little.

"Lexi, you're a fucking G!" Maddy yelled, she was close with Nate, but she couldn't deny the fact that it was funny.

The audience cheered, Nate got up and left. "Shit, Maddy can you watch her for a second?" Natalie asked, Maddy nodded, and Natalie got up and ran after Nate.

"Nate." Natalie said running up to him "why the fuck are they laughing that shit is so fucking homophobic." Nate said.

"Okay, Nate you are being really dramatic right now. Like I don't think anyone even really knows "Jake" is you." Natalie said "where were you even going? You can't leave me and Serenity here she only has one car seat and it's in your truck." Natalie said.

Nate sighed, but nodded "look just cool off and come back when you're ready, okay?" Natalie said, Nate nodded. Natalie leaned up and kissed him before walking back to the auditorium.
