Glitch (MHA x OC)

The festival

It was the day of the festival, the entire Aizawa family except for the youngest, woke up early to prepare. Aizawa was in the kitchen with Hizashi arguing as usual, Kasai and Emiko were getting ready in their rooms. Emiko was almost done, she was just wrapping the iconic Aizawa family scarf around her waist tying it tight enough it wont fall off but so she could still use it for combat. She was telling her cat Salem, and her dog Khalida about the festival and how this year her and Kasai are going to help run it, but Kaori will also be there. Kasai and Emiko will be entertaining the crowd with special tricks, comedy, and their improv arguing.

"KIDS WE NEED TO GO IF WE WANNA GET THERE ON TIME!" Hizashi shouted from the living room. Kasai, and Emiko left their rooms to meet each other in the hall, racing down the stairs. Hizashi was holding Kaori in a blanket and Aizawa was still on the couch with Tangi, the other cat, on his lap both asleep. Kasai picked Tangi up giving her a treat and putting her down on the chair, him and Emiko helped their father into the car and they all went to the Sports festival Stadium.

The drive was calm and not very long, once they got there they talked to Midnight and helped set up some of the decorations. Finally it was time for the event. Hundreds of people were crowding into the stands finding seats, grabbing food, all sorts of things. After some small battles between third years, and pros, it's time to get this festival started!

"This will be fun!" Kasai asked

"Nothing is scary as long as you embrace it with a smile." Emiko smiles as she grabs a clear umbrella. Midnight gave her introduction and then it was time for us.

Kasai had five barrels of water behind him ready for him to manipulate. Emiko gave the signal and Kasai manipulated the water to make a fast swirling stream of water that went in circles in front of the crowd. Emiko glitched on top of the stream using the umbrella as a board, she glided through waving at the crowd, with a smile across her face. Kaori jumps in playing with the water as she floats through giggling and waving at the crowd. Kasai jumps in and has the tail of the stream follow him as he glides on the water. In the center forming a column, Emiko shoots up in the center turning the umbrella into flowers, Kaori shoots up after and uses her quirk to create a small illusion of butterflies flying in the sky close enough to the crowd they could almost reach out and touch them, then Kasai drops all of the water and brings it back up separating the water into slow motion droplets around the stadium. The crowd cheers, and applauds the entrance as the three come down from the water column onto the stage where Midnight is standing.

"HELLO! AND WELCOME TO THE SPORTS FESTIVAL. I'M GLITCH! AND THIS IS NEPTUNE " Emiko says into the Microphone

"Today the challenges, and battles will be fierce, you'll see all types of quirks and the new generation of pros in training!" Kasai says.

"Get ready for our fun filled events and the wonderful booths!" Emiko says

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN" Hizashi shouts from his viewing station.

The games went by fast, round after round, battle after battle, every now and then we would have to step in, students that Kasai and Emiko had met years ago were battling. Most of the time the crowd was roaring with excitement and the competitors were having a fun time. Midnight introduced all of the games, Kasai and Emiko were all over the place, sometimes they would join a battle to just joke around, other times they were with Hizashi, Kaori, and their dad, most of the time they were with midnight and cementoss making sure everything was running smoothly. The day went by fast with lunch and snack breaks in between, cleaning up the excessive stunts that the first years thought were appropriate and some nap breaks it was over. Most of the battles were a blur by the end, only a few stood out to Emiko. The ones she was interested in, the potential, the weakness, the impossibilities. She paid great attention to detail to every battle she thought was worthy of it. So many interesting first years that she had never seen before but was curious to see where they end up in their hero journey, they've already seen much more than the average first year at their age, but nothing compared to what Emiko and Kasai have been through.

The first years had finished and it was time for their rewards. The last battle was a brutal fight between Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo.

"Now it's time for the award ceremony." Midnight announced. All-Might was going to distribute the awards. The top competitors from the first years stood on their pedestals, not one of them believed they should be standing there. Bakugo was going crazy with the restraints on, he had already made a scene early today and now when he got exactly what he wanted he's throwing a tantrum. Emiko understood his frustration, Kasai on the other hand looked at him with disgust. Something inside of her was triggered by Kasai's expression as she glitched next to Bakugo. She looked him in the eyes and glitched away the hand and mouth restraints, she leaned in close and whispered "You don't need to feel like you deserve it, just accept it and use the memory as a reminder to do better, for now just embrace it with a smile." He stood in shock as All-Might with Kaori on his shoulders started handing out the rewards.

A few days later

"You're going to school. Attending the U.A. You two will join class 1-A. You start today, here are your uniforms and schedules, get dressed, you have ten minutes." Kasai and Emiko stood in the hallway speechless at Aizawa's words with the uniforms in their arms. Aizawa waited a second before giving them the glare and they both scurried off to get ready.
