"COME ON, YOU NEED FRESH AIR," ELODIE whines, throwing her head back onto the back of the couch. her eyes stared at the ceiling as she blew a piece of purple hair off of her face. her eyelids closed after a moment, taking in the silence of audrey's response. speaking again, "maybe touching some grass, too. all you do is sit in this stuffy room, you probably have brain cells dying by the minute!" was heard.
audrey breaks through her straight-faced demeanor and snorts, hands still continuing to erase and retwrite the same few lyrics. the two were situated in their shared apartment, audrey sitting on the floor, her chest facing the floor as she flipped a pencil between her fingers. elodie was sat on the couch, south park paused on the tv as she groaned out. the two were thankful to be in eachothers presence after almost a month of not seeing eachother. audrey was grateful to be away from wilbur for a moment, elodie was grateful to have another person in their apartment.
"elo, i'd love to, really. i wanna go on an adventure with you so bad, go running for the hills. but right now i just can't spare the time, i'm sorry," she mumbles, imagining the scowl elodie is most likely wearing on her face right now, pressing her chin to her hand as she continues reading over the lyrics. "i wanna finish this shit tonight."
