Chapter - 10

The morning came and the Wens woke up. They didn't know that Wen Qing had given birth. So, not to disturb the couple, they did their morning routine and the women cooked for everyone. They were about to finish eating when they heard the patriarch's voice, when they looked at him, he was practically glowing.

Wei Ying (WY):"Hi everyone!! I have have a great news for you all. Let's go to my cave then. A-Ning you too."

Wen Qing (WQ):"Hi everyone. I gave birth last night. Please give my babies your blessings.

All the Wens blessed the twins and went out the cave to prepare for a small celebration. But Wen Ning hadn't said or done anything yet. The couple knew that Wen Ning was too happy to move.

WQ:"A-Ning, won't you hug your nephews??"

Before Wen Ning knew he was hugging his sister and crying. Wen Qing patted him and he calmed down a bit. He then hugged both of his nephews as gently possible. He feared that even a tiny bit of pressure will break these two little balls of happiness. Then after putting the kids in bed again, he did the most unexpected thing. He hugged Wei WuXian.

Wen Ning:"Th-Thank you both for ev-everything both of you did till toda-y Bro-ther in law (Jiěfū) and sister (JiěJiě). For tak-ing c-care of me, for saving me, for revi-ving me and g-giving my life a new meanin-g."

WQ:"A-Ning... Last time, when... You died, I felt my whole world crumble apart. At that time I really wanted to die along with you, but husband saved you, and today I have you, husband and these two little bundle of joy of mine. So, if something ever happens to me, to anyone of us, we should move on in order to take care of the kids. Promise me both of you, that if anything happens to anyone of us, you won't think of dying, but live for yourself and the kids. Promise me!!"

WY:"... I promise, A-Qing."

Wen Ning:" I pr-promise, Jiě."

WQ:"Now please don't start crying. Okay A-Ning you can go now.
Husband, I need to feed the babies, can you help me a bit ??

During the first five months of Wen Qing's pregnancy, she took care of herself. But after her sixth month, she had difficulty bathing and had sore feet, so Wei Ying sponge-bathed her every now and then. He even massaged her foot to relieve her from the soreness. He was an actual ideal husband. Though he didn't love her, he respected, cherished and took care of her enough to make anyone jealous.

WY:"Yes A-Qing. You should feed A-yuan first, I'll hold A-yi for you."

He held Wei Yi very gently, as if he was made of glass, no, more like snow, since he feared that even the slightest touch can hurt the baby.
Just as WQ was about to start feeding baby A-Yuan, both the kids opened their eyes and blinked at their parents. This time WQ wasn't shocked though. After all this time, staying with Wei Ying, she would be surprised if something extraordinary didn't happen.
As if A-yuan and a-yi could sense they were safe, both of them made a satisfied face.
After feeding, she rubbed A-yuan's back to make him burp and gave him to WY and took a-yi. The moment she started feeding him, she knew he was a curious kid, cuz he was looking at her and her body with a bit of curiosity in his eyes as if he knew her body was different from his mother. But she was happy the child didn't reject her touch. She then looked up, only to find WY making cute or funny faces at a-yuan, to which the baby was giggling cutely.
After feeding both the kids, she put them to sleep. WY carried a-yuan and WQ had a-yi in her arms. They both went out to eat breakfast. Granny Wen Hong held a-yuan and her niece had a-yi, so that the new parents could eat breakfast comfortably. After eating WQ wanted to go to her clinic.

WQ:"Husband, I'm going to the clinic now. It's been 3 months since I haven't been out."

WY:"No!! You're not.

WQ:" But why??"

WY:" Because your body needs rest. You might have given birth without any issues but your body still needs to recover. You can go to the clinic from next week."

WQ:" But I'm fine. I don't feel any kind of weakness or such. Can't I just go ??"

WY:" Nope!! Let me get you some watermelon juice. If you are actually at your best for the next three days I might allow you to go out early. So rest as much as you want. Imma Out!!"

Just like that, three days went, and on the fourth day, after feeding the babies, WY escorted WQ and WN to the clinic. During the midday, he carried both the babies in his arms to the clinic in order to feed them. At the evening the siblings came back home.
This continued almost the whole month. Today was A-Yuan and A-Yi's 1 month Birthday. So all the Wen started doing the preparation for evening's monthiversary Banquet. 
After waking up WQ and WY kissed the babies foreheads and WY wished them a happy birthday in his cutest baby voice. WQ giggled watching this cute scene. While she was looking at the kids and the Big Baby(WY)🥰, she suddenly remembered something and a tear fell from her eye.

WY:"What's wrong A-Qing?? Why are you Crying??"

WQ:"N-Nothing.. it's just lovely to see 3 rabbits playing amongst each other. Thanks husband, for giving me this happiness."

WY:"Ah !! A-Qing you are the one to gift me with such joy. Just as they are my kids, aren't they yours too??"

WQ:"Mn. Well, enough chit-chat. Let me now go to the clinic. Husband, I was thinking, if I can call some of my patients and Mr.He here for the celebration??"

WY nodded. WQ and WN then went to the clinic.

???:"Forgive me... But I have to do this... I hope you understand me in future.."
