After everyone left I got ready for bed thinking about what Adam was talking about earlier. Was he jealous? Why did he care so much? Does he like me? I laid down on my bed yawning, I heard knock on my door. I got up and opened it, " what are you doing up?" I asked Tom. " I can't sleep" he said. He looked tired, his eye bags were swollen and his eyes were red and drooping. I opened the door wider so he can come in. He sat on my bed while I joined him. " do you like anyone so far?" He asked, " well we just got here so not really" I said. " do you?" I questioned.
" There's a girl In my English class, she has beautiful brown eyes and hair. She doesn't let anyone tease her, she's smart, and did I mention beautiful?" He says. I chuckle at him as I laid down.
"Do you really think we'll be stuck here forever?" I asked Tom. He looked at me sitting up " yes, but I think we'll like it here as much as we loved it back then" he said. He kissed my forehead leaving my room. I began to sit there wondering why Adam is still on my mind, I soon fell asleep

I woke up and got dressed in a sweater and some cargo pants. Me and Tom ate cereal and headed to school, I sat down in my first period laying my head down while the teacher was talking about who knows what. Charlie was throwing paper balls to the teacher back, but every time he would turn around Charlie would act studious. After my second period we went to lunch and sat down together, " I think Adam likes you" Charlie said. " what?!" I chuckled. " Yeah every time Fulton and Guy bring you up he tenses up or looks jealous" he said. " Charlie I just got here, there's no way he likes me already" I rolled my eyes.
" I don't know but he's walking over here with everyone else". I sat up straight looking at him. Adam took the chair next to me while everyone else sat down. " How's your day Y/n?" He asked. " it's good, besides History at least" I picked at my food.
" I was wondering if you were gonna join me and your family tonight" he said . Join? Where? "To where?" I asked, to dinner at some Italian restaurant" he said, " I guess so, I mean I don't really have a choice" I said. " Great" he said smiling. "Great" Fulton and Averman mocked. I laughed and saw that Adam got red. Maybe he did like me? Or am I getting delusional again?
