It might be a hasty decision on her part to quit. But it's not like she didn't think of it thoroughly.

She just didn't want to be hurt emotionally, mentally, and physically again. She thought to herself, frowning at everything that has happened in the last few months.

It was several months after the war with Alvarez, then someone came back. It was the supposedly dead sister of the Strauss', Lisanna.

While she seems nice, there was something different about Lisanna. She felt dark. And it wasn't good for her nor the guild. And she was being ignored anyway, so she left without saying goodbye.

And head back to the Heartfilia Manor. She was warmly welcomed by everyone in the manor, the servants and her stepfather.

And she has been here since. It was quite peaceful actually. Sure, it was quite lonely without the loudness of the Team, but this was her life before Fairy Tail.

She's used to it.

So she has been back at the Heartfilia Manor for the past month. It was quite an amusing thought that she would have come to adore some people like she did with Fairy Tail. She still does but she couldn't help but to resent herself for being a coward.

She sighed deeply in thought as she strolled around the manor. The servants couldn't help but be in awe of how graceful their lady carried herself. Even during the years she has basically spent with her old guild, she was the epitome of how a noble and imperial lady should act.

"Lucy Heartfilia" is a petite fair-skinned woman with knee-length golden-blonde hair that is currently styled in a way where some of her hair are in a bun and the rest are loose the bun being held up by a golden phoenix hairpin, and two weeks ago, her most adorned chocolate brown eyes was turned into aurora icy blue eyes.

How people never see her beauty was beyond them. Unless they were utterly blind then it's their loss, really.

The lady was out of it for the past few weeks, they hoped she's alright.

"Papa, it's Lucy, can I come in?" She knocked on his door.

"Come in," She opened the door to see her father fixing his desk to welcome him. She smiled softly and approached closer to sit down.

"Should I ask a servant for a cup of tea, my dear?" He asked her.

"No, I will be quick though, I don't want to bother you from your work, Papa," She softly told him.

"You aren't a bother, you're my daughter," She returned the grin he gave her.

"If anyone asked.. Could you tell them that I traveled all around the world?" She asked him, "I want to stay in the Northern Empire for a while. To get my mind off things.."

"If that is what you wished," He sighed sadly, "If you want to not be found until you are ready, then it's fine as well. But please remember that you sent me letters, alright? I am a non-Shénqí, hence I can't use the lacrimas you use to call,"

"Of course," She stood up from her seat to go around the table and hug her father, "I will miss you, Papa,"

"I will miss you too, Lucy. You are mine and your mother's pride and joy,"
