Chapter 53: Joint Training

There was a tense atmosphere in the school. It was the day after Endeavor fought a very powerful Nomu in Kyushu, and everyone was talking about it. You didn't pay attention to it out of respect for Todoroki instead opting to talk to Momo on the way to the locker rooms

 Y/n: "I heard we're doing a special training today, what do you think it'll be?"

Momo: "I don't know, but given that we're starting the day with it rather than normal classes makes me believe it's something we haven't done before."

You split up going into separate locker rooms to change into your hero costumes, your winter outfit was simple just some warmer long socks and a thicker jacket but still thin enough to move freely. You never really had a problem with the cold since you could always summon a fire type to keep you warm. When you exited the locker room, heading to Ground Gamma you got to see Momo's new outfit. Her normal costume was covered with a long scarlet cloak. You walked up behind her and gave her a big hug

Y/n: "I love the cloak!"

Momo giggled looking over her shoulder.

Momo: "Did you change anything for winter Y/n?"

You unwrap your arms and allow her to turn around seeing the slight changes

Y/n: "Just little things, I don't need to go overboard."

Momo: "I supposed you are similar to Todoroki with temperature regulation. I can't say I'm not jealous."

Hagakure: "Aren't you guys excited, we're back at it!"

You see boots and gloves moving frantically, out of everyone who needed something added during the winter you would've bet it was Hagakure, but apparently, she disagrees

Jiro: "Aren't you cold in that?"

Hagakure: "Yep, freezing!"

Y/n: "In the meantime let me help you."

You smile summoning Larvesta. She picks him up and makes it seem like he's floating, she exhales in relief

Hagakure: "Thanks Y/n!"

You see Momo start to pout until she sees a Flareon brush up against her leg. She looks at you smiling picking him up as well. The rest of the class talks about the modifications they made with Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugo entering last. While everyone was chatting an evil presence approached...

Monoma: "Look who we have here! Relaxed and full of yourselves as always. Obviously, you underestimate us."

Kirishima: "There you are, we've been looking forward to this!"

Monoma: "Ha! Not sure why, it's not like you stand a chance against us in this exercise. C'mon class A let's see who is best between us, once and for all."

You tuned him out after this since he pulls out some random chart blabbing about how class B is superior. After he kept talking Mr. Aizawa came and shut him up by wrapping his capture cloth around his neck. This made you smile seeing you weren't the only one annoyed with him. Vlad King entered next to him announcing the upcoming Class A vs. Class B combat training.

Vlad King: "Today in this combat training between classes not only will you be facing each other, but a special participant will be joining."

Mr. Aizawa: "Try not to embarrass yourselves if at all possible"

There were murmurs throughout both classes wondering who the special guest will be. A purple-haired boy walks in with a cloth similar to Mr. Aizawa's and a mask similar to Midoriya's respirator that he never uses.
