Chapter 1. Leaving

Ta'kathi(Ta-Ka-E)

Neteyam's pov

I slowly tossed my bags over my Ikran and Secured them too her, putting my hand to her head to rub her, knowing this would be an awful flight

People said their goodbyes once more, hugging us all

Dad picked up tuk and jumped onto his Own Ikran, Bob. Why he named him that I have no clue, mom hates it

"We ready to go?" He said, looking at us all "oh c'mon! High hopes people! Everything will be okay" he said, smiling at us, trying to change everyone's mood

I just smiled as well, jumping up on my Ikran Ta'kathi, petting her head "yea c'mon, let's get going guys" I said, trying to keep my spirits high

Everyone slowly got onto their Ikrans, mom walked around kissing everyone's forehead's before going to get on her own as we set forward

I watched as the home I grew up in, where I made so many friends and memories, faded far away, a few tears coming to my eyes. Wiping them quickly, being scared of what my father would think of he saw boy's don't cry I told myself, looking forward

Tuk was already asleep, not surprising as she didn't have to fly and being out in the air always calmed her, I flew down, everyone suddenly turning towards me, making sure nothing was wrong "TEYAM" mom called, I just snickered and pulled up harshly right before hitting the water and going back to line up flying with the others

Mom looked at me in rage, I quickly looked away not wanting to look her in the eyes. Scary woman she is

TIME SKIP ABOUT TWO DAYS

It had been two days. Two fucking days since we left, although every once and a while we would stop to rest and let our Ikrans rest, I was tired of it, wanting to go back home

We all switched off carrying tuk, It was kiri's turn for a few hours. We had just gotten up in the sky good after a nights rest when suddenly

Ta'kathi Dove down, without warning, I almost fell off her in the process. I quickly grabbed hold of her, trying to pull her up but she just kept going down. Everyone just stared and crossed their arms, thinking this was a trick

We got closer and closer to the ground, unlucky for me she had decided to do this right as we where flying over a big patch of trees and rocks, it would hurt hitting the ground thats for sure

She threw me off

She motherfucking threw me off her

Falling to the ground I heard screams above me, they had now realized this wasn't a prank

I hit the ground

Hard

My right shoulder burned and ached, as did my whole right side. I held onto to it, slowly getting up trying to make sure nothing was broke, taking a step. That's good I can walk moving my arms I felt awful pain in my right one, hoping I didn't do anything to it

Soon my parents landed next to me with Ta'kathi, my mother running up to me "my baby are you alright?!" She asked, scanning the cuts and bruises I got from the trees as I was falling

I nodded and got back onto Ta'kathi "something must have spooked her" I said "we must go" I blurted out quickly, flying upwards, the rest of them following, I hoped no pain seeped through my voice when talking to them, rubbing my shoulder I sighed, hoping this wouldn't be too much longer of a trip

TIMESKIP THREE OR SO HOURS

Tuk pointed at something "is that it daddy?"
