Tough love(Ao'nung X Neteyam)

Chapter 3. Failed

Neteyam's pov

"Wake up Nete!!!"

Good Eywa I almost had a heart attack cuz of this child, I sat up quickly holding onto tuk's arm's "what? What? Is something wrong?!"

"Nothing you Skxawng, but we are going to be late for lessons" lo'ak replied, already heading out as tuk got up and ran to Kiri who picked her up and walked out

I looked over to Nonna's clock she made for us, it was made from the wood of home tree with leads surrounding it

Apparently it was like two minutes away from being twelve pm so I quickly got up, fixed my loincloth and walked out, messing with the beads in my hair

"Took you long enough freak" Ao'nung yelled out, his friend Rotxo, or whatever his name was, had been sitting next to him and started to laugh. I just rolled my eyes. All my siblings seemed scared of him, But I could care less

Tsireya hit her brother in the head, I just snickered "alright ignore my brother and his friend, come everyone" she said as she got up, my siblings and her brother and friend followed, walked over to the water and dove in, her brother and his friend following

Lo'ak and me looked at each other, about to say something when kiri took Tuk's hand and jumped in, effectively splashing us "ugh guys!" Lo'ak yelled, jumping in as well, I just laughed but stayed on the shore

Thinking about how my siblings made such a huge splash and the other three dove calmly and quietly with no slash 'how in the hell did they do that?' I questioned in my own head "Ay forest boy! We don't got all day!" Ao'nung yelled, stirring me from my thoughts

I looked up to see everyone floating above the water, waiting for me. Sighing I tried to dive in, Landing flat on my stomach before sinking in the water

I heard laughing above me but soon it faded to black 'good job Neteyam, first day here and you drown'

Ao'nung's pov

Oh Eywa that was so funny, this is gonna be a great day watching them all fail like that, quickly Tsireya looked underwater and back up "he's not moving Ao'nung" I just looked at her, quickly stopping my laughing "what?" "He's not moving" she sounded a little panicked "what? You think it knocked him out or some shit? Sounds like his problem" "GO GET HIM YOU SKXAWNG!" She made me jump a bit, not used to her yelling

I sighed, taking a breath and swim down, wrapping my arms around his waist, noting how easily I could wrap my arms completely around him, good Eywa I liked this waist

I swam up, moving him to the shore and laying him down, I guess Tsireya yelling caused some commotion cuz people dropped what they where doing and walked over

All of his siblings moved up behind me "do something!" Tuk said, holding onto Kiri with tears in her eyes

I sighed and held his nose, moving my mouth to his and slowly pushing air into his mouth, moving back and taking a breath I did it again. His lips where softer then I ever thought, I honestly wanted to sit there and kiss him forever but I pushed those thoughts aside, I shouldn't think those about another guy

Suddenly he opened his eyes, causing me a bit of a scare as I quickly moved my head away from his, his cheeks turning a darker shade of blue "what happened?" He asked, obviously dazed

I just laughed, trying to hold back the thoughts flooding my mind of how close we where "you somehow managed to do worse then a toddler in the water and got yourself knocked out"

I could see his eyes fill with embarrassment and people started to move back to their huts, just laughing at him

Even his siblings and Tsireya having a bit of a giggle.
Then it hit me, I felt my face heat up as I realized the interesting position we where in, I was between his legs with one hand beside his left shoulder and the other resting a little to close to his loincloth

I quickly moved, mumbling a quick "Skxawng" and getting up, Tsireya butting in "okay maybe Teyam should go rest while we finish their lesson" I looked at her, nicknames already? Ugh and the younger brother was a bit to close to her

Neteyam quickly got up almost running to his family's pod, I just sighed and walked to mine, seeing mom fixing dinner "well your home early, where's your sister?" She asked, looking at me then back at what she was doing

"She's still teaching the sullies, neteyam managed to get himself knocked out trying to dive like us" I said, with a light laugh

She looked at me, obviously she's a caring woman, although scared that a war was going to be brought upon us because of them she would still worry about the children as she does all the metkayina kids "is he alright?"

"Yes mama, he eventually woke up and headed home to rest" I said, heading to my side of the pod and laying in my hammock. Obviously not going to admit I did mouth to mouth on him

Normally, even if it was a male Na'vi I'd tell her because it gave me a reason to brag and be cocky about saving a life but he was different somehow

I had done mouth to mouth plenty of times but with him I got a weird feeling in my stomach, almost like there was a bunch of little ilu's swimming around and tickling my insides. It made my face heat up just thinking about it. And knowing my hand was so awfully close to his loincloth made my heart speed up

I just hope the others keep it between us and don't say anything

And I hope it's not gonna be awkward between me and Neteyam now

Obviously I had to do something embarrassing bc Neteyam's the oldest so he succeeds at everything but not this
So sorry it took so long on this chapter
Hopefully for this book I can get a chapter out everyday, if not I'll try every other day
