XANTARA'S POV::

holy shit im over thinking again.

As soon as I got back to home base, I started crying, The first person I seen was Kiri so I walked up to her and as soon as she saw me her gaze softened 

"Tara? What happened"

She pats the seat next to her I sit down and she takes me in her arms, I start quietly sobbing into her arms, she starts calming me down making me follow her breath

"What happened?"

"I'm sorry.."

"For what Te?"

I lean back from her arms her hands still in mine

"What does your brother think of me?"

"Which one" she laughs and I roll my eyes

"Neteyam"

she sighs,

"Well, your his best friend aren't you?"

I nod "Yeah"

"Then ask him!"

"no.. you see, he was going to kiss me because we where teasing each other and I was about to kiss him but I pulled away because I thought he wouldn't feel the same, now I feel horrible and he probably wont ever talk to me again" I whine and start crying again, Kiri just hugs me again

"No no... Neteyam would never not talk to you over something like that, hes way to attached to you to ever..."

"Do you mean that?"

"Yes of course... hes literally looking at you right now"

I turn my head to look where Kiri was and indeed he was looking at me, but when he sees me looking he blinks a few times and slowly turns back to his friends.

NETEYAM'S POV::

I turn my head to look back at Maouri 

"Dude what happened between you and Tara?"

"Man I dont even know, dont think she likes me thats for sure"

"It looks like she was crying..?"

"It does.."

"Well then go over there!"

"No.. she doesn't want to talk to me"

"Oh bullshit, just go over there"

"Nah ma-"

Before I can finish Maouri stands up and grabs my wrist walking over there I try and pull back but that didnt work If im being honest I didnt want to walk away I wanted to walk over there and fix everything up with her.

"Hey Girls, Kiri and Tara. Now if you dont mind Neteyam would like to speak to Tara, alone  I smile as I see Kiri looking at Tara, Kiri giving a I told you so kinda look, Kiri then gets up and locks arms with Maouri

"Come on Maouri lets give them some alone time"

I sit down next to Tara and play with my thumbs, soon enough I start picking at the skin of my fingers. As soon as Tara notices she takes one of my hands and interlocks it with one of hers

"Im sorry" She says in a quite whisper

"It's okay my love"
