Chatfic /mha/ insert reader

(A/n: I use they/them for the main character, which is a insert reader I suppose.)

Walking home after another day of school they started to count the clouds.
They had no music with them, taking their expensive headphones to school was dangerous.
Walking up to their house, they stopped.
Their eyes found the gaze of a hero.

The hero was well hidden, was he or she or they spying on her?

After a pause they questioned, what did they have to lose? Why did they care?
They walked inside the house leaving the hero to whatever the fuck they were doing.

"Could you clean the dishes?" Mom asked them.

They sighed and put their bag at the foot of the stairs.
They would much rather talk to the random people in the group chat, but no.

A while later they put their bag up their room and sat down.
"Could you let out the dog please?" Mom called up the stairs, "I'm leaving in a while, it's gotta be now."

Without a word they got up again.

"How as school?" Mom asked before they could step outside with Burger-Chan. The dog's name is burger.

They ignored their mom and walked towards the door.

"Hey!" Mom stopped towards them, "answer me when I talk to you!"

They automatically nodded, "yes mom." Their voice was raspy and soft.

Mom glared, "just let out the goddamn dog."

"Yes mom." They said again before taking the dog out.

When they looked outside while walking with Burger, the hero was nowhere to be found.

Grabbing their phone, they opened the one and only group chat.

So I am going to guess, this is a big deal, everyone pay attention, history is being written right now!
