Y/n's POV:

We both greeted our parents and sat next to each other while we both looked through the menu.
" And I'll have the pepper stake with some uhh
onion rings on the side. "
Finn said while the waitress took his order.
" Excuse me, I'll just got to the bathroom. "
I said standing up from my seat, and headed to the bathroom.

Once I was done using the toilet, I headed back to our table to see my parents laughing with the waitress while Finn looked,
intimidated?

" So I'll call you later? "
I heard the waitress say while I sat back down
in my seat.
What?...
" Uhh - uhm. "
Finn couldn't form out any words.
" Finn, honey. I think it's a good idea. "
My mom encouraged him.
What's going on??
What does my mom think is a good idea?
" Yeah. "
He gave my mom a smile while the waitress headed to wherever she came from.
I purposely let out a cough and said,
" Um uh... What's happening? "
I looked at all 3 of them as I adjusted my
seating position.
" Your brother is having a date with that nice young waitress that just took our order. "
My mom smiled while
she took a sip from her water.
" Oh, really? "
My head turned to Finn.

He's kidding right? I- I mean he isn't actually
going? Oh god this just makes me
sound controlling....

While we waited for our food to arrive,
from time to time,
I saw Finn give me an " I'm sorry " look.
But I didn't or I couldn't do anything
for some reason.
This sick feeling was in my stomach, but that's when that waitress brought us our food.

Is he really gonna go out with her?

ALOT of things were rushing through my head
while I tried finishing my pasta....
During dinner the only ones who were really talking was my mom and Finn's dad.
I was just blanked out while i tried to finish my food,
and Finn looked pretty out of it too.
I kept seeing him check his phone multiple times
while he was finishing his food.
" Y/n? Y/n? "
I heard a muffled voice calling my name.
I snapped back till I heard it was my mom when she almost shouted at me.
" What? "
I looked to her.
" Y/n, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?
Earlier you seemed fine? "
She asked me catching Finn and his dad's
attention.
" Nah, nah it's nothing. Just lost my appetite."
I glanced to Finn at the end of my sentence.
" Do you two have some beef with each other? "
Finn's dad waved his fork around.
" What? no?!? "
" Oh no! No! "
Finn and I both denied defensively which didn't look good if I'm being honest..
" Okay well... Y/n finish your food.
Anyways- "
My mom continued on her conversation she was having with our dad.
" Y/n. "
I felt my so called boyfriend put his hand on my lap.
I ignored him and swiped his hand away
from my leg.
" Y/n I- "
He tried explaining during dinner?!?!
Is he serious!?!?
Jesus, Finn.
Does he want us to get caught?
" Save it, Finn. "
I chuckled taking a bite of my pasta and tried to act like there wasn't anything wrong.
As if we were having a nice decent conversation.
And during the rest of the dinner,
I pretty much made it clear to Finn that I didn't wanna be bothered...

God I hate ignoring this son of a bitch,
but I can't help but think and wonder if he's really gonna go out with that waitress.
I think Finn is smart enough to say no and come up with an excuse, right?

~ few moments later ~

FINALLYY, I was done eating...
" Um, excuse me. "
I stood up from my seat and it looked like Finn was gonna stop me, since he stood up but-
This is just great...
" Oh honey where are you going? "
My mom asked me.
" My room, mom. "
I answered avoiding eye contact from Finn.
" Okay sweetie. Oh and remember tomorrow
Brand and his parents are arriving
early for the wedding. "
The news my mom told me made me feel relieved!
Finally, some other boy to talk to,
besides Finn.
" Cool. "
I nodded and gave a small smile, while I walked back into the hotel and rode the elevator
and back to the room.
