Scientists move around a clean lab, in the blink of an eye, two Mikaelsons appear. "Hello," Finn says, gaining the attention of the room. "This is only a formality," Henrik adds. Finn uses his vampire speed to move around the room, snapping each scientist's neck as he passes them. "And trust me, this way is better for you," Henrik adds. Finn stops next to his brother, "Our nieces would not have been so kind," Finn says to the room of dead researchers. "Neither would our siblings," Henrik says. "Set it on fire," Finn demands. "Incendia," Henrik says. In a matter of minutes the whole room is on fire and the two Mikaelsons are standing in the center of it.
Kol looks at Finn and Henrik and then looks at Klaus, "And here I thought that we were the ones who caused the most chaos," he says. "We are," Klaus says. "They must have learned from the best," Klaus adds. "No," Finn says. "They learned from the best," he adds.
Mystic Falls
In her office, Caroline Forbes sits at her desk across from Lizzie and Grace. "So, I found a witch's retreat," Caroline says. "And I was hoping to have it as an extra credit option for over the summer," Caroline says. Lizzie and Grace exchange a look, "And you want us to look at it," Lizzie asks. Caroline shrugs, "Well, Lizzie, I know that you won't hold back on your opinion," Caroline says. Lizzie smiles, "And Grace," Caroline begins. "Will want to go to protect her," Grace adds. "Exactly," Caroline says. "We will go pack and head to the retreat," Lizzie says. Caroline hands a piece of paper to Grace. "That is the address," Caroline says. "Thank you," Grace says. "No, thank you," Caroline says. "Your welcome, Mom," Lizzie says. Grace smirks, "Your welcome, love," she says, adding an accent to her voice. "Out," she says. Grace wraps an arm around Lizzie's waist and leads the girl out of the room.
Klaus growls, "What was that," he asks. "That was nothing," Grace asks. "You used an accent to say 'love'," Klaus growls. "Did I," Grace asks. "You did," Caroline and Klaus say in unison. "Oh, then I guess I did," Grace says.
Grace and Lizzie are walking out of the Headmistress's office and nearly run into Landon. "Is that weird," Lizzie asks. "I think he is weird," Grace says. Lizzie laughs, "Call Hope," Lizzie says. Grace sighs, and pulls out her phone. After a second Hope answers, "What," Hope asks. "Landon is acting weird," Grace says. "You think he is weird," Hope says. Lizzie grabs the phone from Grace, "He is pacing the halls of the school and it's midnight," Lizzie says. "And what are you doing up," Hope asks. "Super secret mission from Caroline," Grace mutters. "Oh," Hope says. "We will tell Faith and have her tell you," Lizzie says. "We are also letting Josie know, so you can choose who you learn from," Grace says. Hope sighs, "I'm heading down to the school now," Hope says. "Where are you," Lizzie asks. Grace furrows her eyebrows, "You are at Kai's with Josie," Grace says. Hope hangs up and the dark haired Mikaelson takes her phone from the blonde siphon witch. The girls laugh as Grace leads Lizzie down the hallway.
Caroline turns and looks at Kai, "What," Kai asks. "Nothing," Caroline says. "No, it's something," Kai says. "Reformed sociopath Malachai Parker," Caroline says. Kai laughs, "Thank you," he says.
Grace and Lizzie walk into Faith's dorm, the dark haired Mikaelson grabs an air horn. "I will snap your neck," Faith mutters. "Ugh, you ruin everything," Grace mutters. "What's up," Faith asks, sitting up. "Caroline asked us to go to a witch's retreat," Grace says. "Keep us updated about what's going on here," Lizzie says. "Will do," Faith mutters. "Have fun," Faith says as Grace and Lizzie leave the room. Grace turns back to look at her cousin, the pink haired Mikaelson raises her eyebrows teasingly.
"It didn't work when Faith tried it, why would it work when you tried it," Kol asks. "I wanted it to work," Grace says.
In the school's gym, Landon is lifting weights and Jed is being the spotter. "Come on, Lan, imagine you're having a baby and push," Jed says. "A baby?" Landon asks. "At least that's what I do. Come on, push," Jed says. "Push!" Jed encourages. "Push!" he encourages again. Landon grunts, as Landon finished that set of lifting. "Yes!" Landon cheers. "Yeah!" Jed adds. "Yes! That's what I'm talking about!" Landon says. "Yes! Let's go! Let's go, boy!" Jed cheers. "Yes!" Landon says. The two boys laugh as Hope stands in the doorway, the auburn haired Mikaelson had one thought going through her head, 'Wow, Grace was so right.' "You know, this isn't what I was expecting," Hope says. "Right, I totally thought his arms were gonna snap. Yeah, do you even lift, bro?" Jed asks. "I mean, it's a new hobby. I haven't really been sleeping well since I got back from Malivore, so..." Landon says. "Why didn't you tell anyone?" Hope asks. "Because I found a perfectly healthy coping mechanism here with Jed, and...and, uh, didn't want you to worry," Landon says. "Not worried," Hope deadpans. "You know what? Get as yoked as you want," Hope adds. "Nice," Landon says. "Hey, but cardio matters, too. You want to go for a midnight run?" Jed asks. "Yeah, I do," Landon says. "I'll see you soon," Landon says. "Bye," Hope whispers as the two boys leave the gym. The auburn haired Mikaelson shrugs, "I have nothing," she says. Hope turns back to the weight set to see that Landon was lifting close to 300 pounds, "Huh," she whispers before leaving the gym and heading to the mansion to find a spell.
"Suspicious," Kol asks. "Obviously," Hope says. "How did his arms not snap," Klaus asks. "That Uncle Nik," Grace says. "Is a great question," Jen says.
Grace pulls up to the apartment building, the motorcycle's sidecar holding the bags. Lizzie takes her helmet off and shakes out her hair. Grace turns off the motorcycle and copies the blonde's actions. The two girls head up to Kai's apartment, "Knock, knock," Lizzie says. Kai opens the door, "What are you doing here," Kai asks. "We need to talk to Josie," Lizzie says. "Is something the matter," Kai asks. "Did something that I did not know about go unexpectedly wrong," Kai adds. "You know, I kind of like him better when he was a sociopath," Grace mutters. "1: I heard that," Kai says. "And 2: you did not answer my questions," Kai adds. "Mom sent us on a trip and we want to let Josie know before we leave," Lizzie says. Kai nods and gestures to Josie's room in the apartment. "And Grace," he adds. "Tell your cousin that I have vampire hearing," Kai adds. The dark haired Mikaelson smirks, "I will be sure to pass the message along," Grace says. Lizzie walks into her twin's room and jumps on the bed. Josie sits up quickly, "What is wrong with you," Josie asks. "Mom sent us on a mission," Lizzie says. "Caroline sent us to a witch's retreat as a possible extra credit for over the summer," Grace says. "And we wanted to let you know," Grace adds. "Oh," Josie says. "Don't worry, Hope and Faith are staying," Lizzie says. "Be safe," Josie says. "You too," Grace says. Josie nods. Lizzie and Grace left the dark haired siphon's room and then out of the apartment. Grace gets on the bike and Lizzie hops onto the back of the motorcycle. A low rumble fills the quiet streets and Grace peels out into the street.
Caroline looks at Kai, "Seriously, reformed sociopath," Caroline says. Kai shakes his head, "I know," he says. "I'm so ashamed," he adds. "Don't be," Caroline says. Kai groans, "I should have gone to New Orleans," he mutters.
