As Klaus Mikaelson once said, 'You should know, my littlest wolf. That even when all seems burnt to ash in our story there is always another chapter to be told.'
Malivore monsters keep coming, Faith and Grace jump into action when their uncles tell...
In the hospital, Clarke's monitor beeps steadily, the son of Malivore grunts softly. Hope looks up at him, "How are you feeling?" Hope asks. "Sore. And surprised, 'cause you clearly saved my life," Clarke says. "Oh, God," Clarke complains. "What, does this make us friends?" Clarke asks. "Hmm, frenemies at best," Hope says. They both chuckle softly, "Well, being a human sucks," Clarke says. Hope chuckles, "But it sure beats the alternative," Clarke says. "So, thank you," Clarke says. "Just wait till you get the hospital bill," Hope says. Clarke chuckles, "Still, uh, I owe you one," Clarke says. "So, FYI, it wasn't your ex who gave me what I'm hoping will be a sexy scar. Landon isn't who you think he is, Hope. Literally," Clarke warns. "Yeah, I know. I would have known sooner if I had just allowed myself to see it, but..." Hope says. "Instead, I let him convince me that it was his struggle to survive in the prison world that changed him from the person that I know better than just about anyone. Malivore finally got what he wanted. His vessel. He's been hiding in plain sight ever since," Hope says. "I told you he was up to something big," Clarke says. "Destiny, huh? Maybe you were right. There's no fighting it," Hope says. "I don't know. I was thinking the opposite. Thanks to you, as crazy as that sounds. Against all odds, you escaped the darkness, beat your fate. More importantly you did it yourself. Alone. That's exactly what I'm gonna have to do when it's time to face mine," Hope says. "But I didn't do it alone. I-I needed help to get out of the darkness. Just like you're going to need help against Malivore. So, while I get why you feel like being the Tribrid is your own burden to bear, don't lose sight of what's in your corner. The thing I've never had," Clarke says. "What's that?" Hope asks. "Friends," Clarke says. "A family," Clarke adds, thinking about the Mikaelson family.
Klaus and Kol both sigh, "Fine," Klaus says. "I will leave him alone," Klaus says. "Because Hope has made amends with him," Klaus finishes. Kol looks at his daughter, "I cannot promise that," Kol says. "Don't brag," Klaus mutters. "My daughter is not making amends with Clarke," Kol says.
Bonnie sighs, "How did you know, that it was not your evil grandmother," Bonnie asks. "Because I did the spell, and then Lizzie did the spell and then your mother did the spell," Grace says. "And we all got the same results," Lizzie adds. "You think if we all do the spell, it will overpower whoever is trying to hide," Bonnie says. "Exactly," Grace and Lizzie say. "Okay, let's set it up," Bonnie says. Grace opens her bag to reveal several candles, a container of salt and a map. "You do realize that I am a witch and have all of those things, right," Bonnie asks. Lizzie and Grace set up the salt and the candles, Bonnie places the map in the center, Abby walks around the circular table and lights each candle. "Jen," Bonnie says. Jen nods, Grace hands the girl a knife, slowly Jen slices her hand and allows the blood to splash onto the map. Bonnie, Abby, Grace and Lizzie link hands around the circular table, Enzo and Jen step back, the vampire turns off the lights allowing the candles to be the only source of light in the room. The five witches close their eyes and begin chanting, "Hoc genus indagere sanguinum, hoc genus indagere sanguinum, hoc genus indagere sanguinum, hoc genus indagere sanguinum," they chant in unison. The blood on a map begins to spell out a word as the spell continues.
"Two Bennetts, a Claire-Mikaelson and a Gemini working together," Kai says. "The supernatural world must be truly ending," Kol says. Kai laughs, "Well, those Mikaelson girls might get in the way of the supernatural world ending," Kai says. "And if they are involved," Rebekah trails off. "So are we," Klaus says.
Kaleb and MG are in their dorm, looking through superhero comic books to be inspired for names. "No. No," Kaleb says, closing a comic book. "Man, see? Man, all the good ones are already taken," Kaleb says. "Maybe our bar for superhero names is just too high, which makes sense, because, I mean, we were pretty dang super today," MG says. Kaleb laughs, "Truer words, my dude," the vampire says. There is a knock on the door, "Hey," the two vampires say as Caroline walks into the room. "Hey, guys. Uh...I'm sorry to make your Fortress of Solitude less so," Caroline says. "Not at all, Headmistress Forbes," MG says. "Is everything okay?" Kaleb asks. "No. No, we've lost another student today," Caroline says. "What? Who was it?" Kaleb asks. "Someone you no longer remember. I didn't, either, until Hope filled me in," Caroline says. "Malivore strikes again," MG says. "Trust me, I'll get to him in a minute. But right now, this person meant a lot to you, Kaleb," Caroline says. "And remembering her is gonna hurt, so I just wanted to give you the option," Caroline says. "I mean, if she was important, of course I want to remember her," Kaleb says.
"Poor Kaleb," Bonnie whispers. "He does not know that his world is about to come crashing down," Caroline adds. "One pillar of his world, he has a support system," Lizzie says.
All of the sudden the candles go out, and Enzo turns the lights back on. Grace, Lizzie, Abby and Bonnie open their eyes as the lights come on, "Ken," Grace says, reading the word that the blood spelt out. "Congratulations, Jen, your father's name is Ken," Lizzie says. "Oh no," Finn says. "What," Grace asks. "Who are you talking to," Bonnie asks. "Uncle Finn," Grace says. "He's back," Bonnie asks. "Sort of," Lizzie says. "Ken is his modern name," Finn tells his niece. "For a while he went by the name of Lapetus," Finn says. "Lapetus and Ken are the same person, the God of Mortality," Finn says. "Oh no," Grace and Lizzie whisper. "What," Bonnie asks. "Ken is the more modern name for Lapetus," Grace explains. "Prior to using the name Ken, he used the name Lapetus," Lizzie says. "That does not sound so bad," Abby argues. "The God of Mortality," Grace finishes.
"Lapetus had a sister," Freya says. Finn nods, "He does," Finn whispers. "I need to bring you fully back," Grace mutters. "Why now," Enzo asks. "Because he knows about Ken's past, and that could push his buttons," Grace says.
In the Mikaelson mansion, Hope and Faith prepare the spell to bring people's memories of Cleo. Josie sits on the couch near them and watches as they set up the spell. Both girls sit in the circle of candles and hold each other's hands. "Harae-tamai Kioku Yomigaerashi-tamae," the two Mikaelson girls chant. After a moment, the girls both fall into an unconscious state, a couple of seconds go by and the girls wake up. Hope turns to Josie,"Well, did it work?" Hope asks. "Well, I remember Cleo now, so yeah," Josie says. "I feel like this is all my fault," Hope says. "How come," Faith asks. "We agreed to come back to the school and figure out what was wrong with Landon," Hope says. "I went to find Clarke to drag him here and Cleo went after Landon," Hope says. "Landon attacked Clarke and nearly killed him," Hope says. "And I'm sorry. To her and to you," Hope says. "It's okay," Josie says. "We need to go to the school and confront him," Faith says. "A strong and united front," Hope asks. "Absolutely," Josie says.
"Now they just need to go and get Cleo," Abby says. "Navigate through Malivore and pull her out," Faith says. "Easier said then done," Grace adds. "It's a good thing that Cleo is smart because it would take a lot longer to save someone who was ignorant," Hope says. "At least, there is a silver lining," Lizzie says.
In Malivore's darkness, Cleo wakes up. "Hello?" she asks, her voice echoing. "Is anyone there?" she asks. A creature in the darkness screeches, another creature grunts as if the two monsters were fighting. "On second thought, forget that I asked," Cleo says. All of the sudden a giant ball of light appears in the distance. Cleo appraises it, "Okay," she says, breathing shakily. "Whatever that is, it must be better than this place," she says. Cleo begins to walk through the darkness towards the light.
Klaus, Kol and Rebekah exchange a look, "Clarke could help them find her in Malivore," Caroline says. "Or the Mikaelson girls can," Elena sneers.
Mali-Landon wakes up in the Mikaelson School gym surrounded by a cell. He stands and pulls on the chain. The boy laughs darkly, as the doors to the gym open, Hope, Faith, MG, Kaleb, Josie, Jed and Caroline walk into the room. "Well, this looks like a party," Mali-Landon says, as the group stops and glares at the boy behind the bars. "We want our friends back," Josie says. "There's something I want, too," Mali-Landon says. Hope raises her eyebrows, Mali-Landon steps forward and leans closer to the auburn haired Mikaelson. "Fate's a bitch, isn't it?" he asks. Hope smirks, "Yes, and the person who your vessel loves, is the person that can kill you," Hope taunts. "So, watch yourself," Hope adds. "Because the way I see it, is that you are in there and I am free to turn into the Tribrid," Hope taunts. Mali-Landon growls, "But what about Cleo," he growls. "We are going to save her too," Faith says.
"The Super Squad has changed a little," Caroline says. "We have a new leader," Hope says. "A leader who allows us to make decisions by ourselves and then trusts our decisions," Faith adds.
