I recently found an Undertale AU called ShiftShift. It makes absolutely no sense with some of the shifts and it's just so facking hilarious. Asgore is Napstablook, but he's just wearing a sheet as a shirt. Frisk is...Undyne? Toriel is Metta, and she looks hilarious in her box form. Napstablook is Papyrus and Metta is Sans, which is hilarious if you think about the personality swap, and Alphys is Asriel. So this is all fine until you think about the Alphys-Undyne date.
Because Sans is the scientist and Papyrus is the warrior.
I don't get how this would work...Sans and Papyrus aren't related? That would still feel weird...So what is this? Here's what I have so far:
Sans: ...oh no, here he comes now. *hides behind trash can for no reason because...why would he be nervous around his brother?*
Papyrus: HUMAN! THERE YOU ARE! I JUST REALIZED THAT MAYBE I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO DELIVER THE LETTER!
Papyrus: WHAT? YOU DON'T HAVE IT? WELL, HAVE YOU AT LEAST SEEN SANS?
Undyne: (answers)
Papyrus: HMM. THEN I WILL KEEP LOOKING FOR HIM!
Sans: god...well, i guess it's kinda obvious, huh?
And this is where I have no facking idea where to take this. How? How does this shift work? No hate to whoever created this au, it's still good, but...AAAAAAAAAAA can anyone help me? I just want to see if anyone can finish writing this date sequence
Also, here's all the shifts. I did not make the art, but some incredibly talented person managed to change the Toriel box to something not cursed:
