running out of time

Eva stood in front of my door with blood leaking from her forehead. ''What happened are you okay?!'' I asked/yelled at Eva as she just stood there completely unbothered. ''oh that? Himi threw a fork at my head!'' You know what forget what I said about being fostered in a normal family.

''Eva sweetie, how about we show this to mom first and then we can eat. Okay?'' I tried saying but she was already running downstairs to show Sara.

I came down stairs to see Sara stitch Eva's wound? ''I didn't know you could stitch?'' I asked even more confused as she is a indoor architect. ''of course I can! Oh just so you know there was a murder down town so we might get a new kid soon.'' She said happily. I found her reaction a bit odd but then again she's autistic so I won't judge the way she processed that news.

''Okay that's cool. I guess? When are we eating?'' ''oh, you can just grab something from the fridge. Mark and I are going on a date and Eva over here is sleeping over at a friend.'' ''Okay then, I'm going back to my room.''

After I got back to my room I started with my 'research' on narcolepsy.

After passing out twice and having a better understanding of what TF is going on with me I went to get some food. After microwaving the hell out of some mac 'n cheese I went to the living room only to find Himi and Sam inviting me to a movie night.

I missed almost a third of the movie but that didn't matter at least not to me.

''so how did you end up here? In foster care I mean." I asked after 10 minutes of silence. ''well that's easy my parents were killed. And Sam's parents are the reason they can't talk anymore.'' ''oh, I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked.'' Now I feel guilty, I never knew what happened to Sam but I still feel stupid for asking.

''Don't worry about it. It's not like you purposefully tried to hurt me.'' I heard Himi say. It tuck me a couple of minutes to realise that that was just Himi translating Sam's ALS.
