Bathroom shenanigans

This story is taken from the after-school spin off so spoilers for that.

"Ugh!"

"What's wrong Nene?" I ask her. She was mopping the floor angrily. Her face was a bright red. I could practically see the steam radiating off her.

"We cleaned the toilets yesterday, we're cleaning the toilets today, and we'll be cleaning the toilets tomorrow. TOILETS, TOILETS, TOILETS. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE."

"Aww, Nene. I'm sure we'll get a break soon."
I said glaring at Hanako-Kun.

"To think you two would hate this so much... what a pickle." He said tapping his finger on his chin.

He's gonna make Nene angry. He's gonna get it.

"Well, the thing is," he continues.  Since you are my assistant Yashiro, cleaning the toilets is your inescapable duty. But! I've thought of some ways that might make the job seem fun to you! So let me off the hook will ya?"

As he finished speaking he pulled out a list from his pocket.

Oh no. This is gonna make fun of Nene's legs, Isn't it?

I was correct. The list said:

Kamome Academy Summer Toilet Daikon Festival!
Step 1: Change the air freshener to Daikon scent.
Step 2: Decorate the toilets with Daikons.
Step 3: Debut a new daikon mokke.
Step 4: Yashiro has Daikon legs.

Oh, no.

He's doomed.

I was right.

She hit him with a mop.

So...

We went to Aoi-Chan for help.

"Hmmm," she thought to herself.
"I suppose anything can be fun when you're with someone you like."

"So!" Nene beamed. " I had Kou-Kun bring someone here for me!"

Hanako blinked a few times.

"Who is it?"

Minamoto-Senpai stepped out of the doorway.

I turned and saw Hanako jump out of his skin.
"Tag out. Tag out. TAG OUT." He screamed while Minamoto had him pinned to the wall.

"YASHIRO, HELP ME."

She didn't help.

All she was murmur "I'll be your mop anytime Minamoto-Senpai~"

*blugh*

"NENE!" I said hoping to snap her back into reality. Hanako had escaped and was cowering behind me.

"What are you trying to do to me, kid?" He said turning to Kou. "You tryna snuff me out?"

"Don't worry Hanako." He replied. "I made sure to tell him he's only here to help with the cleaning."

"Wha-What?!" Hanako whimpered. "Wanna tell me why he has a SWORD THEN???"

"Kou's telling the truth No. 7"

Minamoto-Senpai said unsheathing his sword.

"I didn't come here to fight. I'm only here to clean up the filth."

"YOU SEE? HE'S GONNA CLEAN ME! HE'S GONNA CLEAN MEEE!!"

We got him to leave.

As Kou dragged his older brother out of the bathroom Hanako turned to face me and Nene.

"You can't just bring someone to help who will try to erase me AT THE DROP OF A HAT!!!"

"Aww," Nene sighed, obviously disappointed that her crush couldn't come anymore.

"YASHIRO DON'T 'AWW' ME. I. ALMOST. DIED. AGAIN! (In the sixth chapter of a fanfic no less.)"

"But only Teru-Kun can make my heart beat fast enough to make cleaning toilets fun!" Nene said dramatically, Holding her hand to her head.

"Ah! I've got it!" Hanako-Kun said grabbing her hand and cupping her face. "Yashiro, all you have to do is... fall in love with me then. Right?"

"Uhh," Nene said in surprise. "I-I....."

"Don't think that's ever going to happen."

She finished speaking. Holding her hand up in defiance.

Meanwhile, I was stuck with comforting a heartbroken ghost.

Rehearsal is taking a lot out of me right now.

And I've been having trouble waking up earlier so I can write.
