Appearance
Edelfried is a tall and slender young man with long purplish white hair, eyes with galaxy patterns of various, shifting colors within them, pale skin, and pointy ears. His outfit varies depending on the situation, although, he mainly wears flamboyant suits of a blue or indigo color with galaxy motifs.

Personality
Edelfried is very flamboyant and dramatic. He has various supernatural powers that he loves to show off, such as the power to manifest divine wings and a radiant halo. At times, he seems arrogant and narcissistic, thinking of himself as a living god. However, it is important to remember that this mindset was drilled into his head by his father ever since he was little, and he was raised to think of himself as the pure embodiment of perfection.
Sometimes, he does question this mindset, and sets aside his flamboyant and arrogant facade. Behind this facade, he is a timid and self-conscious person who realizes that he has more weaknesses than strengths, and that he still has a lot to learn. Although, he wishes to improve himself and become a better person.

Powers & Abilities
• Fatara Physiology: Due to the large amount of Fatara genes in his system, Edelfried has many of their abilities.
Photosynthesis: Edelfried can sustain himself without food by gaining nutrients through photosynthesis.
Oxygenating Digestion: Any solid or liquid food consumed by Edelfried transforms into oxygen after digestion and exits his body through pores on his skin. He cannot produce solid or liquid waste.
Genome Analysis: Edelfried possesses the same analysis ability as Fatara, using which he can instantly analyze and detect the genome system, brain function, physical age, and mental age of living beings surrounding him.
• Miracle Regeneration: Wounds on Edelfried's body heal very quickly, and he can regrow lost body parts.
• Asexual Reproduction: Edelfried is biologically genderless, and does not have nipples, a belly button, an anus, or genitalia of any kind. However, he can reproduce by removing any part of his body. This body part would then develop into an independent being.
• Unusual Ocular Structure: Edelfried's eyes are made out of an unknown chemical that makes them look like outer space. This ocular structure allows him to have perfect night vision and zoom in or out when observing objects, similarly to a camera lens. He also does not need to blink and cannot produce tears.
• Unusual Blood Structure: Edelfried's blood has an indigo color and can solidify under certain circumstances when in contact with oxygen, allowing him to create objects (such as weapons) out of his own blood.
• Improved Hearing: Edelfried's pointy ears have a unique trait. They can allow him to hear sounds at frequencies that are above or below the frequency level of sounds that most humans can hear, as well as locate living beings by their sound trail, even if they are making a very quiet sound.
• Flight: Edelfried has a pair of large bird-like wings covered in white feathers that he can hide by making them retract into his back. These wings allow him to fly.
• Halo: Edelfried can activate a sequence of light rays surrrounding his head, which appear in a pattern that resembles a halo, a shining circle of light usually depicted around the heads of sacred beings in various religions (mainly Christianity).

Backstory
Edelfried was artificially created through genetic engineering by Heimlich Zeitgeist, a biologist and genealogist.
Heimlich wished to create a perfect child for himself. He did not want to have the child in a natural way, as he was afraid that the child would end up being flawed. So, instead, he took to genetic engineering to create the perfect child. He used the genes of multiple people and even non-human beings, such as his own genes, the genes of Nikolai Saranchevsky (Raktuselm) and the genes of Fatara, with some Jinn and Enmon genes added in as well.
Ever since the first few months of his life, it was obvious that Edelfried was special. He learned how to speak and was sentient at three months old, and learned how to read and write at two years old. Heimlich asked him to name himself, and his creation chose the name Edelfried.
Edelfried was brought up as the perfect human being, which resulted in him having a massive ego. At first, he did not question his perfection, however, as he grew older, he understood that he was flawed after all. When he found out about the fact that he was imperfect, he wished to improve himself and to strive closer to absolute perfection.
He sometimes went on walks around the city, learning new things and meeting new people. On one of these walks, he met Zhen Lianhua, a lonely child who was also raised to be perfect. The two became inseparable: they understood each other's pains and problems, and cheered each other up in times of tragedy. Ever since then, Edelfried and Lianhua were always together through thick and thin.
One day, Edelfried and Lianhua met Theophania Paleiologos. They both became good friends with her, and even when she drastically changed after witnessing the suffering of the poor and oppressed, their friendship did not fall apart...

• Edelfried cannot grow body hair on any part of his body, except his head.
• Edelfried is worshipped by the Fatara due to his similarities to Lord Raktuselm and a large quantity of Raktuselm's DNA, as well as Fatara DNA, in his genome.
• Edelfried can wiggle his ears.
• The surname Zeitgeist is a German word composed of two words, Zeit (meaning time, a period of time, or a season) and Geist (meaning spirit or ghost). Thus, the word roughly translates to "spirit of time". This fits Edelfried's lore, as he refers to himself as "an angel who heeds time's call and listens to its cry".
