Chapter 45: The Ending That They All Deserve

"Stop it. Go away, don't touch me!"

Liu Haikuan smirked seeing that his beloved beta was really drinking vinegar. An omega did tried to hit on him and even asked for his phone number but he immediately refused, declining while saying that he already had a lover. Zhoucheng witnessed that scene and now he was trying to coax his grumpy boyfriend.

He reached out and hook his arm around the younger's waist and kissed his neck gently which caused Zhoucheng to flinch and blush in an instant. Zhoucheng tried to break away from him so to stop that from happening, he showered him with kisses.

Zhoucheng's annoyance instantly faded away. Now that Liu Haikuan was pampering him with kisses. Kissing his cheeks and his head.

"If you don't want others to stop hitting on me, you should start to call me Gege. Come on call me Haikuan-Ge."

Haikuan urged the younger. Zhoucheng was horrified when he heard those words and escaped from Haikuan's grip. His reaction was quite huge, this time. "What?! Are you out of your mind?! What made you think, I will call you that way?"- he snorted and rolled his eyes at him. "Quit it, Liu Haikuan."

But Haikuan's reaction changed. He  withdrew his smiling face and became serious. The naughtiness reflected in his eyes disappeared. His voice sounded so serious when he spoke. "Alright if Mr. Jiang Zhoucheng don't like it, then I won't force him."

After saying those words the alpha turned around and went to walk ahead leaving him on that spot. As the feeling of uneasiness trying to bloom in his heart. He was also hurt when Haikuan called him by his name. Well, he did the same thing to the alpha, everytime. Ever since, the alpha starting pursuing him, he always called him by his name. He hated endearments for he thought that having one was so cringe and creepy. He guessed, Liu Haikuan had enough and actually get tired  from his cold and indifferent attitude. He doesn't want the older to break up with him. Thinking that Liu Haikuan will leave him, his heart aches. He cannot bear it.

So his feet automatically moved and grabbed the lawyer by his sleeves. "Gege is fine." He mumbled in a tiny voice but Liu Haikuan heard him.

Haikuan looked back and saw the blushing  Zhoucheng as he timidly held his sleeve. Darn! Zhoucheng was too adorable. He admitted it, he didn't like it when the younger called him by his full name earlier. But he loves Zhoucheng the way he already is.  He knew the beta might act cold and indifferent or even been mean and grumpy at him sometimes. He knew that the younger loves him. So hearing him calling him Gege, he cannot help but to kiss him.

Zhoucheng on the other side was too surprise to push Haikuan away. The older alpha pulled him and their bodies collided.  The next thing he knew, Liu Haikuan was already kissing him in the middle of the crowded street. Like an ice cream that slowly melted under the scorching heat of the sun, he became powerless in Haikuan's arms.

"And then? What happens next?"- Zhan asked his Didi with a sparkling eyes. He was happy that romance had successfully bloom in between Lawyer Liu and Zhoucheng.

Zhoucheng on the other hand recovered from being in dazed. The tips of his ears turned red after realizing that he told that kind of story to Zhan and the others, not to mention that his Shijie, Xuan Lu was here listening to him. He hurriedly diverted his gaze away from his Zhan-Ge and kept his mouth shut.

Seeing that he didn't want to speak anymore, Zhan didn't nag or force him to speak which Zhoucheng felt thankful.

Meanwhile Zhan spotted the kids, Yichen, Meixing, and Fenhua were playing with Xiaobao chasing after the dog while bursting in laughter and giggling at the same time. The whole atmosphere became lively and beautiful. Zhan's eyes landed on his stomach, the bump was already showing but he could hide it by wearing loose shirt. Zhan hasn't told his friends about his pregnancy. Initially he planned to keep it to Yibo. When he tested to see if he was really pregnant, he wanted to see the result alone and if it was true, he will keep the good news for the mean time and reveal the truth on Yibo's birthday. But he remembered their promise that there would be no secrets between them, he shared that beautiful moment with his husband.
