"Mommy?"Dreyden asked confused.
"No Kayden,it's me.Yuh nuh memba mi tell yuh seh mummy naa deh home fi a few days,"I said to my brother.
"Oh,I forgot,anyway,Im hungry what are you cooking?"he asked while sitting on the kitchen stool.
"Dumpling and mackerel,"I replied.
"Oh,my favorite,"he said excitedly.

"Can I have a hug?"he asked with outstretched arms as he came around to where I was standing.
"Sure,"I said hugged him while lifting him up into my arms.

Kayden tends to be very clingy sometimes.He loves to hug and show affection,me on the other hand,nosah. The only persons I allow to hug me or give me a kiss on the cheek or forehead are my parents,my best friend and Kayden. I also like cuddling with Kayden,he's just so warm.
As you can probably tell,my relationship with Kayden is really strong. We do have our disagreements sometimes but our parents always tell us not to let the day end without coming to a solution or solving the issue.
I was so caught up in the hug that I had forgotten that I was on a call with Dreyden until I heard him shuffling around some stuff. When I looked at the screen he was out of my view. The shuffling caught Kayden's attention which made him ask me who I was talking to.
