It had been almost a month since Kanade's sickness, and both her and Ichika were quickly growing closer. Ichika used to just come by when Honami would go, but now she and Kanade would hang out regularly at either of their houses (mostly Kanade's), sometimes they'd go do things as well, go to the mall to window shop, a cafe, or just take a walk in the park. Kanade found it funny when N25 would go crazy over some of these.

"Wait wait wait," Mizuki spoke quickly, "So yesterday you and Hoshino went on a walk like in the outside world together? Kanade... you WILLINGLY went outside?!"

Kanade looked to the side of the diners booth. They had just finished one of their concerts in SEKAI, and the group met at their favorite diner like they always do after performances. "You could... say that," Kanade said.

"Woww," Ena said, "Kanade's going crazy cause she likes some girl! I never thought you'd just go in the sun unless it was for more instant noodles or something." Mafuyu nodded slightly, "Kanade, you really don't go out much, so this is interesting." Kanade sighed, going outside would interrupt making music, but now instead of writing and creating songs every other day she and Ichika would meet up after school and either head home or go out to do something together. Since today was a Saturday, Kanade had asked if Ichika wanted to come sleepover that night, which she said yes to since her parents wouldn't be home until tomorrow because of an unknown reason anyways.

Kanade checked her phone quickly, Ichika said she'd be over at around 5:30, and it was already 5:00 so she excused herself and began the twenty or so minute walk home. Once home she sat at one of the chairs in the dining room she never used anymore, as she didn't spend much time near the living area anymore. Soon enough a knock on the door was heard, Kanade practically running towards it and opening it quickly before smiling at the blue haired girl. Ichika stepped inside and smiled back, both in a comfortably awkward silence.

"How was your performance?" Ichika asked, as the two of them did their regular routine of waking to Kanade's room with some sort of attempt to start conversation.

"Oh!" Kanade said, "It was fine, I didn't have too much of a part in the song we did but, it was fun." Ichika leaned against Kanade's desk as she sat down in her chair. "Yeah, I sing in most of our songs, main vocalist stuff I guess," Ichika said. "Well that's cool," Kanade said, "I wish I could be a better vocalist but I can't sing that much without needing to catch my breath, duets are all I can really do I guess."

"I suppose," Ichika responded, "But your vocals are memorable, you have a unique voice, and it fits you, really. Some of your group's music would be ruined if you didn't sing in it." Kanade smiled and looked slightly towards the floor. "Thank you," Kanade said quietly, "You also have a nice voice, it makes sense you're the lead singer of your group because your vocals are beautiful and easily convey so much emotion I suppose. Your role is extremely important to your band, Ichika." The two sat in a sort of silence for a few minutes, Kanade messing with the program on the computer, and Ichika looking around the room at what was lying on the floor and Kanade's bedside table.

Ichika looked over at Kanade, "Should I order something for us to eat or do you want to just find something in the house?" Kanade turned the chair to look towards Ichika, "Order? I guess? Depending on what's open right now?" Ichika took out her phone and walked over to Kanade and searched for places that could deliver at that time. "Well there's this place which me and my band have been to before, it's pretty good but I feel like since this will technically be my first time sleeping over we should find somewhere new so maybe..." Ichika's voice drifted off slowly, because all Kanade could pass attention too was how close the two were to each other. Ichika was just standing next to the chair but their shoulder brushed against hers when she'd scroll on the screen, and she could see a light blush on her face, seemingly out of excitement to find something she'd never tried before.
