I heard them. All of the whispers and the stares. I noticed them as soon as I walked past the school gates with Chan and he also noticed.

He was gonna ask if I was alright but I quickly told him I would see him later and walked away. I tried to get past my first class, I tried to ignore it. I failed.

I excused myself to the restroom when really I ran up to the roof. Skipping my next classes and hopefully lunch but I knew I would never get away with that one.

Hearing the door open behind me, I didn't want to see anyone after the video spread but if it was to be anyone I would hope to turn to see one person.

I turn my head and was let down. Was it wrong for me to be disappointed to see my two best friends walking up to me instead of the boy I wanted?

"You missed the fun," Hyunjin said and Felix nudged him with an elbow.

I furrow my brows "Fun?"

Felix looked at Hyunjin and back to me "Um—Minho"

"Minho almost beat Dylan's ass down in the courtyard"

I sat up straight "What?!" I stand up and pack my things.

"Where are you going?" Hyunjin asks.

I look at him "To go find Minho"

He walks up to me and grabs my shoulders "He's already in the office so no use. Plus, I know you're blaming yourself but I think this was inevitable whether it's about you or not"

I sigh and Felix agrees "So your saying Minho tried fighting him for a different reason?"

Hyunjin thinks for a second "Well, no"

"Then it's my fault"

Hyunjin drops his hands and rolls his eyes "Ignore Hyunjin. We are here to make sure you're okay" Felix walks up to me and rubs up arms in a comforting way.

"I'm fine," I said, "Just another day in my life" I shrug and Felix frowns.

"Chan told me about last night," Felix said.

"What happened last night?" Hyunjin asks, crossing his arms "I feel left out"

I shake my head "Dylan and Caroline showed up at mom's restaurant"

"And said horrible shit to you" Felix adds and I look down. "Don't believe them Jisung"

"Maybe I'll go beat his ass since Minho never seems to succeed" I look up and Hyunjin tries walking away but Felix grabs him and drags him back, making him clear his throat "Later, I'll kick his ass later"

"As I was saying. Don't believe them, Minho—" Felix starts "He really likes you"

"And how do you know this?" I ask.

"You didn't see him moments ago, he looked ready to murder someone—someone specifically named Dylan," Hyunjin says.

"I think you not being around also added to the fire," Felix says, "It was kinda cute"

Hyunjin looks at Felix "Cute?" He laughed loudly "You mean hot"

I chuckle and shake my head "Y'all are insane"

"But that's another reason you love us," Hyunjin says.

"Sure" I grab my bag and walk past them hearing them groan from behind me and follow me.

"Denial is all a part of love Jisung," Hyunjin says and I laugh loudly.
