Imposed destiny

30. Gooooood morning

It was almost 9 in the morning and arpita was worried that her bother hadn't come downstairs to meet her

Aryan and Maa made sure to shift her to a room on the ground floor so that she wouldn't be using stairs. Aru was being paranoid (was he really tho arpita didi 👁👁) but it was one of those few moments he showed his care for the baby

She was disappointed that aryan always maintains a distance from her chotu but maa and imlie assured her he'll come to terms soon with it

On asking the servants arpita gets to know he's still asleep. This was practically impossible . Did aryan pass out or faint?!

She carefully takes her steps up the stairs with her 7 months big belly to aryan's room to find it empty 

"Kaha h aru?" She asks 

"Ma'am wo..wo..sir" the maid shyly points to imlie's room and runs away

Arpita from the small open space between her door sees aryan's head on her lap

Imlie was asleep but she could make out she was really uncomfortable 

Whereas for her aru. He had his mouth open and was looking....so peaceful 

She keeps her hand on her stomach talking to her baby

"Chotu..dekh jara apne mamu ko..kaise muh khol ke so raha h...ekdum bache jaise" 

Getting emotional she wipes a tear from the corner of her eyes

"Iss historical event ki picture lena to jaruri h.." she says clicking some pictures then comes down happily 

It was after 6 months she's seen her brother sleep at peace. After her husband's death aryan was traumatized.  He would get up screaming and panting.  Maa tried to sleep with him but due to that he stopped sleeping because he didn't want to disturb maa

After a few days on her insisting maa moved back to her room but aryan was already paranoid.  He would sleep with his head inside a blanket so his screams won't reach them

And soon enough his body got used to this unhealthy routine of not sleeping 

But today seeing him peacefully sleeping arpita finally found the hope she's lost for her aru

"Arpi aru kyu nhi aaya abhi tak?" 

"Maa..wo kuch kaam me busy h aap chinta mat keejiye...aur chahiye mandir hoke aate h.."

"Mandir? Arpi ekdum se..tu to kabse mandir nahi gai..." 

"Bass Maa aaj kuch esa mil gaya jiske liye bhagwan se prathna karne ka man ho raha h" she's stopped believing her life would have any miracles in it. She's already felt all the wonders when she fell in love . But her brother had his whole life ahead.  She doesn't want anything but happiness and peace for him

Aryan wakes up and the first thing he sees is imlie's face

Shittt he'd fell asleep like this...but why didn't she wake him up?! 

Aryan looks at the time.  It was 10. He slept for a solid 8 hours dreamless. He had almost forgotten what that felt like

Fuck! Imlie was sitting like this from past 8 hours 

Aryan quickly gets up then adjusts imlie down keeping pillows properly 

He tucks her loose hair back smiling at her calm face

"Sote hue kitni shant h..,abhi uthte sath hi ladne lagegi.." he wispers

He moves forward to kiss her cheek
