Tale of Love | On hold

PROLOGUE

Daphne Louis went to her boyfriend's house. Her first and last boyfriend, that's what she thought until she got to her boyfriend's house something unexpected happened.

"Wow! Ang galing!" I applauded sarcastically "Akala ko, ikaw ang ma su-surprisa ko sa pagpunta dito sa bahay mo pero mali pala, dahil ako ang sinurprisa mo dito." I laughed sarcastically.

"M-mahal?"

"Oh? Gulat ka no?" I laughed and glared at my friend "Grabe, sa lahat ng puwede mong gawing kabit ay yung kaibigan ko pa talaga."

Hindi naman masakit, parang kagat lang ng langgam.

"At ang galing! Ano 'to, coincidence lang na magkaparehas tayo ng anibersaryo tapos pinalipas lang ng isang buwan bago naging kayo?" Unbelievable.

"M-mahal, please let me explain." Nagtangka siyang hawakan ang kamay ko pero winaksi ko 'yon.

"Oh please, save that fvcking explanation of yours." "At kayo!" I pointed out to my friends who celebrated with these cheaters "Mga kaibigan ko kayo, at dahil sa pagiging supportive niyo kahit mga panloloko nila ay talagang sinuportahan niyo pa."

"M-mahal please, let me explain."

"Tumahimik ka nga jan, ang ingay ingay mo. By the way, we're done."

"No please."

"Huwag ka ngang magmakaawa jan babe. She's just nothing but a trash." Ako basura? Aba ang g*go niya!

"Ano sabi mo?" I walked towards her.

"I said you're a trash. Bingi lang." T*ngina! Ang tapang talaga ng babaitang to.

Basura pala ah. Tingnan natin kung sino basura sa ating dalawa.

Kinuha ko ang mga cupcakes na nakalagay sa isang tray at nilampaso sa mukha niya.

"Ayan, magkakambal na tayo. Ako ang basura number 1 tapos ikaw naman number 2, tapos idagdag na din sa pangalan mo ang pagiging makati mo." 

"Ikaw ay kilalanin bilang Basura ‘the makati’ number 2." I smiled

"Let's end our friendship. You're not my friend anymore." D*mn! This b1tch has the gut to say that?

"Wait, we were friends?" I ask confused.

"Tumigil ka na Louis!" Epal talaga nito, may pa yakap yakap pang nalalaman. Akala siguro niya magseselos ako.

"Tss. Anyway, happy monthsary pala sa inyo. Ito gift ko na." Kinuha ko ang cake at tinapon sa mukha nila.

I marched out of the house.

I can't believe this. Buong buhay ko, sa kanya ko binigay lahat ng attention ko tapos ito lang gagawin niya?! I just wasted my whole year giving my attention to him, and he just cheated on me with my fvcking friend.

Fortunate for her that I didn't give her a big slap on her face.

I need to drink, kailangan kung kalimutan ang nangyari ngayong araw. K1ngina lang!

When I arrived at the bar, I entered immediately. Suki naman ako dito kaya hindi na nila tinitignan ang I'd ko.

"Hey, nice to see you again Louis." a familiar voice greet me "What are you doing here?"

"I'm going to sleep here." Sarkastiko kung sambit  "give me a one shot of tequila." I turned my gaze to the bartender. "Gawin mo nalang lima."

"What happened?" He asked. Chismoso talaga nito. Kailan ba to aalis sa harapan ko?

"Something unexpected happened that you don't want to hear." I boredly said.

Kinuha ko ang isang baso ng tequila at nilagok 'yun. Fvck! Ang sakit sa lalamunan.

"Hmm... Let me guess." He smiled like ang id1ot "Napa away ka nanaman no?" I shook my head "Really? Hindi ka talaga na sangkot sa gulo ngayon? That's new." He chuckled.

"He cheated." sambit ko.

"Ohh.. wait what?!" May nakakagulat ba sa sinabi ko? "He cheated on you?"

"Bingi ka ba?" Naiirita kung sambit

"No. It's just that.. hindi ako makapaniwala na niloko ka ng boyfriend mo. You see, ikaw ang maganda dito sa lungsod natin. Unique ka, tapos.." He laughed like there's something funny.

Tsk.

Nilagok ko lahat ng tequila na nakalagay sa harapan ko. Oh fvck!

"Stop drinking Louis. Hindi maganda sa'yo ang umiinom." Pangaral niya.

"Shh, shut up! Gusto ko kalimutan ang nangyari ngayon." Sambit ko. I'm a little bit tipsy.

I'm getting dizzy.

"Stop drinking Louis. Let's go, let me take you home." He tried to hold my hand but I pushed him away.

I stood up and danced. I danced like there was no one around. I just danced until I bumped into someone.

"Fvck! What the h*ll!?" I turned around at isang gwapong mukha ang bumungad sa'kin "Can you be careful? Look what you did to my clothes."

"Oh, I'm sorry!" I sincerely apologize "I'm Daphne Louis but you can call me Louis." Pakilala ko "And what is your name handsome?" I asked.

"I didn't ask your name clumsy girl." He said coldly.

"Shungit mo tol." I said and rolled my eyes "Maka alis na nga, shungit shungit hindi naman gwapo." I said while pouting.

I returned to my seat dizzy.

"Where have you been? I looked for you on the dance floor but I couldn't find you" Para siyang boyfriend ko na nag-alala na agawin ako.

"Hiding from the monster." I answered sarcastically.

"Tsk. Let's go, I will take you home."

"But . . ."

"No but, Louis." putol niya sa sasabihin ko.

Hindi na ako umangal pa dahil mukhang galit na siya. Hinayaan ko nalang siyang buhatin ako palabas ng bar, because I'm tired.

He put me in his car and drove me. I looked out the window and couldn't stop thinking.

It makes me wonder, is there something wrong with me? Sabi ng iba ang swerte ko da kasi perpekto ako, natatangi, at maganda. But why did he still cheat on me? Hindi naman ako nasaktan dahil sa panloloko niya but it just makes me wonder why he still cheated on me? Oh maybe, because I always get into trouble or I answered sarcastically? 

I can't deny that I really cause trouble and sometimes with my sarcastic response. But what can I do? This is how I am.

"What are you thinking?" I looked at him irritated "What?! I'm just asking you what you're thinking."

"Kailangan ba na alam mo din kung ano ang iniisip ko?" I asked.

"Tsk. I was just asking. Who knows? Silly little thoughts might have been running on your mind right now." Wala naman akong naisip na mga kalokohan ah.
