Getting used to your newfound powers wasn't easy, it was honestly as much work as your classes and your job combined. Besides the stickiness, the strength, and the webs, you also had heightened senses. The first week or so was full of migraines as your body got used to its new abilities. You spent a lot of time exploring what you could now do and learning to control the powers.
You were out one night, walking home, when you saw a woman get mugged. You helped her to the nearest police station and went home with a drive to help others like her. You sewed together a black and white suit that had a mask with eyepieces to help you focus.
On nights when you didn't absolutely have to do work or assignments, you were out looking for people to help. Obviously, that's what you were doing when you ran into Iron Man. You were surprised by the way you were able to banter so easily with him. You weren't normally that bold but there was something about your suit hiding your true self and Iron Man standing in front of you that caused you to act the way you did.
It piqued your interest that Iron Man and the Avengers were interested in you. It meant that your actions (and abilities) were getting noticed, which was both a positive and negative thing.
Due to the busyness of school and work, you didn't get to put on the suit again until the next Saturday, a week later. So far there was no sign of distress so you were just swinging from building to building, flipping around, and having fun. You flipped up and landed on the top of a building, standing there to allow yourself to enjoy the view.
"Long time no see, spidey girl," Iron Man's voice came from behind you.
You spun around, surprised that he was able to sneak up on you. The Iron Man suit he was in was a newer model than the last one you had seen him in. He was hovering above the rooftop behind you.
"Surprised to see you out of your tower, tin man," you retorted, enjoying the courage the mask gave you.
"Yeah, well, decided I needed to fly around more often, see if I could help the people."
"Really?" You folded your arms across your chest and popped your hip out to the side. "And why is that?"
"I had a revelation that I needed to be more available to the citizens."
You rolled your eyes. "How kind of you."
"I know, right?" The suit clanked as he let his feet land on the ground. "I also came to find you again."
"Me? I'm honored."
"You should be."
"Let me guess though, you want me to come back to the tower with you?"
"I am that predictable?"
"Yeah, not going to happen. Sorry."
You fell back off the roof, letting your feet catch on the side of the building. You stood on the side of the building, parallel to the ground, a smirk gracing your masked lips. Iron Man was quick to come over and peer over the edge.
"How can you do that?" The man questioned.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" You retorted.
Iron Man flew over the edge and came to hover so that he was upright like you. His masked eyes bore into yours. You knew that there was no real emotion coming from them, but you felt as if you truly held his interest.
"Actually, I would," Tony admitted, sincerity coming through his tone.
"You just want to know to help with your evaluation," you told him. "You want to know if I'm a potential threat."
