A/N: How about a second part and a little hope?

"Miraculous Ladybug!"

The words echoed throughout the broken mansion, the ruins of Paris, all around the globe, while all the damages, caused by the altered miraculous' were being repaired by a huge swarm of tiny, pink butterflies. At the same time, the Kwamis were released from their cages and though the jewels had been grinded into dust, what was left of them was retracted from the machine and released to be repaired.

Not in their previous state, but in some similar shape, for now existing in some sort of reality of their own, waiting to be renewed.

So despite being destroyed beyond repair, all the dust particles, which were swirling through the air, after Gabriel had made his wish and the whole machine, keeping the little creatures captured, had been destroyed in the process, were put back together into some sort of pure, original, yet unshaped figure, like a clone of themselves, just not being completely finished to be recognized.

"Why didn't it work? Emilie, my love! Nathalie! Adrien! I wanted to save you, but now all is forsaken! I failed you!", Gabriel shouted, as he lingered in between those figures, not knowing, what had happened to him and why he was still here. Crying he fell to his knees and buried his face, which had no features yet, into his hands.

Seeing, that they were looking only like skin coloured rubber gloves, he became aware, that he 'had' made his wish and that 'something' must have happened afterwards, yet he couldn't figure out the answer.

Desperately hoping, that someone would hear him, he screamed the one name, he kept thinking of. The name of the one person, he had tried to save, so she could be there to raise and love both his children:

"NATHALIE!"

In the back of the limousine Nathalie, who had fallen asleep shortly after their departure from Paris, woke up with a start, looking around frantically, her eyes widened. Then she realized, where she was and let out a long breath.

"What is it, dear? Bad dream?", Emilie asked her kindly.

The dark haired woman nodded.

"I thought, I heard Gabriel, screaming my name! Nothing else, just my name! But over and over again!", she explained.

The blonde reached out her hand and squeezed Nathalie's comfortingly. The assistant though, furrowed her brows, while reciprocating the gesture, then asked carefully:

"How are 'you' feeling just now, Emilie? I find it really sweet, how you care and worry about all of us, but don't make the same mistake, I made all of my life and put the others first each time. Sometimes, you must be a little egoistic yourself, you know!"

"I told you, there will be the time for it, once we know everyone, we care about, is safe! I would like to know though, before I let Marinette tell me, how they finally managed to kiss", Emilie said with a mischievous smirk, "how far along are you now? Do you know already?"

Nathalie nodded and reached into the pocket of her blazer, pulling out her phone and unlocking it.

"Let me see, today is...", after making herself aware of the actual date, having lost track of time during those last terrifying days, she took a short look at the pictures from the ultrasound, then gasped, noticing herself, how much time had already passed, before blurting out with utter bliss:

"Oh my, I didn't even notice, how long it's been! I am almost in the tenth week!"

"May I?", Emilie wondered, pointing at the image on the screen.
