"I really like your mum, Adrien!", Marinette told him quietly, as she tried to somehow overcome the awkwardness, which was slowly surrounding them.

"Yeah!", he muttered absentmindedly, then turned towards the window and gazed at the busy street in front of it, "it's really nice outside still. Would you like to take a walk after we had dinner?"

"Adrien!"

"What? Did I say something wrong?", he asked her quickly, pivoting as he did, to face her again.

Marinette just shook her head and walked towards him, grabbed his hand and pulled him with her to one of the beds.

"Sit down and talk to me, Adrien! I am here for you and I love you, so please, don't shut me out now!"

"You love me? How could anyone love a monster? After all you told me, that's what I am, right? A sentimonster, created, no, designed to fulfill my purpose! At least my parents for most of the time tried to love me! Hearing those things, Felix's dad and Mrs Tsurugi did and how they treated their children.... I shouldn't even exist!", he spat coldly.

The girl took a deep breath, then did the only thing, she could think of, that would help him right now. She laid her arms around his neck and kissed him very passionately.

The young man instantly reciprocated and placed both hands on her hips, relishing in the warmth, her body was radiating.

When they parted again, Marinette cupped his face in her palms and told him sternly:

"You are neither a monster, nor a sentimonster! You are Adrien Agreste, son of Gabriel and Emilie Agreste. You have been created a little differently, then for example I have been", she giggled sheepishly, her face flushed because she was talking to her boyfriend about 'those' things, "but that's the only difference. Your mum created you the way she wished you to be, because she wanted nothing more, than a child of her own. A child with the man she truly loved. You were by far more wanted, than many children, you now envy. I mean, look at me! My parents love me and they at some point were happy, that they were having a baby. But I wasn't planned at that moment and when my mum found out, it caused them many sleepless nights. Your parents never thought about things like abortion or adoption, they just took every chance to have you, Adrien! And how could anyone not love you? I mean, look at you!"

The teenage boy scoffed:

"I don't care about my looks! I..."

She interrupted him:

"I wasn't talking about your looks, though...", she looked him up and down with a lecherous grin, then quickly hid her face in her hands, hearing him chuckle and opened her eyes to look directly into his. The half Chinese joined his laughter, then continued, "I meant your whole appearance, your kindness, your way to love everyone around you, your talent, your patience, all those things, nobody made you do, but things you achieved on your own. I mean, you even gave Chloe 'and' Lila several chances to redeem! And now come here and talk to me about the things, that really bother you. About your mum being back, about your dad...."

Marinette paused and waited for his reaction, when he shyly pleaded:

"Can we just lie down and cuddle for a bit? I'd like that a lot more than talking right now. Maybe I'll be able to speak about it later, okay?"

"L-L-Lie down? B-But your mum s-s-said....What if..."

That made him laugh again and he placed a hand on top of hers, soothing:

"Believe me, she won't mind! I was speaking about lying on the duvet, not under it and certainly fully dressed, so, no need to worry! And if she still gets angry, which she never does, I will take the blame, yeah? Please?"
