Enrique Melovic is the first born son to Aretas and Tulio Melovic, the devious magic-conjurers who performed dark spells and whatnot, among the townspeople who remained unknowing of their actions for the many years to come. It is not exactly known where they managed to pick up on their tricks of dark magic, or why they even began performing it in the first place, but... it came to the conclusion that they'd have some debt to pay. They had been worshipping a dark god for quite some time now and the couple were doing pretty well off with it. As long as they promised to give up their offerings for that lord in particular, then.. They didn't have anything to worry about, but... the couple were also expecting a baby, a son to be exact and they already had plans to name him Enrique, which in Spanish, translates to "Home-ruler" which suited him since they viewed this new coming child of theirs as a miracle child, since Aretas believed for a long time that she wasn't able to have children.

But... Enrique was shortly born after the couple gave up wealthy offerings for this God, and Tulio was the one to rope his wife into the whole thing in the first place. If they wanted children, then they must continue to serve at this lord's feet, no matter the cost. But.. other people wouldn't have failed to see that this lord meant trouble and what they were getting themselves into was serious business and...if they did anything to cause this otherworldly being displeasure, then.. They were seriously in for something, that's for sure. No good comes from people who meddle with things they don't understand, especially if they're willing to bow down to a lord, who'd have a variety of punishments for them if they ever screwed up on something. But.. that's the thing, Aretas and Tulio got the child they wanted and she was pregnant with a healthy baby boy. But... they did something they'd later on end up regretting. Just weeks before Enrique's birth, Aretas soon discovered that Tulio had been having an affair with another woman before her back and she became incredibly upset at him for this. She had been carrying their child for months now and this was something they originally agreed on from the start... yet, this is what Tulio goes and does? Aretas had a ritual to perform later on that same night and during that same night, she out of a blind rage, completely and utterly destroyed all of the ornaments they needed to help worship this lord and needless to say, this lord wasn't too happy with that.
