(Hello everyone and welcome back to another one of these chapters of my beloved, creepypasta babies. It's been 2 years since I've officially made characters into legit concepts and posted them here. I still remember those times fondly and I'm still going strong 'til this day and while I am sort of still on writer's hiatus, me and my girlfriend have been making characters relating to one of my character's lore, Lavinia Harred, aka the incredibly evil lesbian death goddess. 

She will be mentioned in this chapter as well, for the sake of everything. But since we've already got so many of the siblings in this universe, they're all canon I need to specify as well. My girlfriend will be writing her own chapter of her own Harred characters, so if you're interested in this world we've made, do check her out and read her own too. Aleu Harred is the eldest son to Greek death god, Thanatos and the once mortal queen, Demiana Harred. He is by far the eldest Harred child and the first child to be born into the extensive bloodline of royals. Aleu was born before his unborn brother, Julian Harred, who no one else knows about. Julian had passed away from a tragic stillbirth, forcing his mother to miscarry him. But shortly after this tragedy, Demiana was blessed to successfully give birth to her third child, whom she'd later name Haven. Aleu struggles with his obsession of being perfect. He fears not being good enough for his family, and not meeting the ridiculously high standards of his father, The King. He often neglects what he wants in order to pursue the "perfect son" role he's always believed was destined for him to play. Aleu may be the eldest, but he was deemed fit for the throne once it was discovered that he can predict somebody's death. Aleu has different ways in seeing a person's ultimate demise, whether that'd be presented through his dreams or through enigmatic visions. So normally, his senses are heightened - he has an extraordinary sense of smell and touch. Aleu's mind-consuming goal of being the perfect child has led him to experiencing severe depression. But unlike most of his siblings, he chooses to not acknowledge his emotions and he suppresses them for the sake of "good appearances" to other royal families in the area. They have a reputation; a point to prove and Thanatos places it all on his son's shoulders and the pressure is slowly tearing Aleu apart by the seams. He suffers from the whole "Oldest Child Syndrome" where the parent has expectations that are often too high for their child to reach. Aleu pushes aside his dreams, his desires and his passions just to feel accepted by the one person who put him in this position. He needs to feel as if it's worth it. Those years of rotting away in the palace library, working himself into the ground to prepare for the big day; his ceremony. The whole empire will be his and... that scares him.

Aleu is calm, quiet and keeps to himself most of the time. Admittedly, he tends to act like a bit of a suck-up. Him and Haven are polar opposites, he's obedient whereas she's blatantly rebellious. He always fears getting in trouble with his parents but now he has no choice but to stay silent even as his family are struggling because of the King. He's silent up until the day he's seen as remotely useful. All he's ever learned is to keep his head down and once the title has been claimed by him, Aleu will have the say in everything at last. 

Aleu is often the discussion of other higher lords because of his destiny to take over his parent's legacy one day. But deep down, this isn't what he wants. He feels lonely watching his younger and technically more privileged siblings sneak out of the God realm to meet with their people. He hasn't found a special someone yet, but considering his status - he doesn't find himself being too surprised at the idea of marrying the daughter from another family, in order to keep the bloodlines strong. He wants freedom more than anything and perhaps the saddest part about this is that he's grown to be a husk of a person. His passions and talents have all been pushed to the side so he could focus on a future he doesn't want to live.
