Yay we got a Nick's POV.

Before moving to New York I started taking ADHD medications. I had been told to take them at a young age but never did.
When I was 10 my father made me take them after being restless the entire night only to discover that without the ADHD I was a rude, aggressive child. I had no emotions or feelings. Like a zombie. My mother thought the dosages were to high but the doctor reassured her it wasn't. I was just plain emotionless without the ADHD.
For a ten year old I was much more mature than necessary. I didn't play or laugh making most kids bully me and call me 'Zombie Nick'. I did homework without being told to, kept my room clean, never cried and always stayed at home. My father wanted to keep me that way. But my mother felt like she lost her son. She begged my father to stop giving me the meds and he gave in. So they decided to let me be with the mental disorder.
Now however I'm taking them. I was sick of acting like a child and running around like a toddler. I had it with starting something and not finishing it because I got distracted.
It was time to grow up and face the real world. Even if I had to do that with no emotions. I had chosen to shut any emotions out of my system. And that's how I've been living for the last year. It was hard in the beginning but now I can see and do the most fucked up stuff and still not react.
A year ago after new years me, Dean and Trevor moved into the city that never sleeps. Of course I felt bad to leave my best friends behind but I needed to do it. Dean and Trev had asked to join me. They knew New York's races are much more developed then Evergreen Beach's.
We still visit our friend group often. At least every few months. And they always act as if they hadn't seen us in years every time. Our friends are like family. We came from a very big friend group. 3 girls and six guys. Except we haven't really visited in awhile.
We all moved to a penthouse in one of the largest and most expensive buildings of New York. But for us it wasn't that expensive.
And the day everything changed for us was when we visited our friends a few months ago.
Flashback.
I up into the mansion's driveway with ease. We haven't seen our friends since Luke proposed to Jennifer. And that was in March... it's now July.
I step out of my black Dodge Challenger and smile at the sight of a driveway filled with sports cars. And in front of the garage stands Lily and Asher's red and black GTR R35's.
Dean and Trevor left before I did so they are already inside.
Quickly making my way in through the front door I already hear all the laughter from the living room. So I make my way in and everyone jumps up and cheers.
