Btw I'm soooo sick y'all have no idea... It's like I can't catch a break😪 but NOTHING is stopping me from writing.
Oh and can we talk about how long this chapter took me to write? Arg. But it's long so... it's like a reward.

Once I get out of the car I giggle at Penny's gasp when she looks up at the big house.
Nick's house is quite larger than Papa's. He only showed me the important rooms when he gave the tour and I took it upon myself to check out the rest of the rooms on my own.
There's seven bedrooms in total. And nine bathrooms if I counted correctly. One bathroom for every bedroom and a few extras. Two kitchens, three living rooms, a dining room, two offices and plenty more.
"It's okay Penny, you won't be cleaning much. Only a few rooms are being assigned to you." Nick assures as he calls over the bodyguards to get our shopping bags-Well more like my shopping bags...
Penny slowly nods before leaning over to whisper into my ear. "He's very wealthy Miss Perez." She states the obvious.
I turn to look at her with a smile. "I've noticed Penny, and you don't have to be so formal anymore. Lia is fine."
Penny looks at me for a moment while hesitating but soon she's nodding slowly.
It saddens me that Penny is afraid to call me by name. She did raise me after all. But with Papa's harsh rules, she wasn't allowed to call me anything other than 'Miss Perez' even though she was like my mother.
"Come on, let's go in and show you around Penny." Nick puts his hand on the small of my back and starts leading me through the front door.
When we enter another gasp leaves Penny's lips. I giggle and turn to her. "If you gasp like that everytime we enter a room there'll be no more oxygen left, Penny."
She smiles and shuts her mouth.
After showing Penny around Nick turns to me with a smile on his lips. "Go up to our room and start getting ready Sweet pea, we leave in two hours."
"Where are we going?" I ask tilting my head.
"It's a surprise. I left the clothes for you to wear on our bed." He steps foward and kisses my lips softly.
I smile. "I'm getting excited and a little curious about this date."
After giving him another kiss I run upstairs towards our room. When I enter a gasp leaves my lips at the sight of the white boxes on the bed.
I quickly walk forward and open the first box. Immediately I shut it before I can see what's inside. I should shower before touching anything in these boxes since I'm very sure it's expensive. I take a deep breath and sprint to the bathroom.
