Ladies, gentleman, both or neither
I'd like you to meet someone that I don't know eitherIntroducing the mimic:
He is multiple people woven into one
Like a patchwork quilt, he's both the moon and the sun
He's both sea and shore, he's both less and more
Nothing and yet somehow all, he is short, yet somehow tall
He'll take away your pain, but leave your emotions bled dry
Do you want him to help you live, if you don't, he'll make you wish you'd die?
His soul is somehow perfect. But yet it's not quite pure
The villain hopes to save someone, but whether it's himself, he is not sureHe mimics the world around him, because he's not quite sure who he should be
His words are doubted so much, he lost the pleasure of speech. They told him he was wrong, confused
That he was just a fraud,
The enchantress is what they asked for, instead they got a lord.So when they ignore his introduction, he shouts it louder still
If they won't bow when he's crowned king, then he knows his loyal subjects will.
