Finally I was free. It had felt like way too long since I was snatched away from my home and jammed into a cage, being moved from place to place. I was starved and kept in poor conditions. If I am never again put in a dark room or cage, it'll be too soon.

I flew and flew until I got tired and everything went black.

I woke up feeling something soft under me as well as warmth surrounding me. My eyes opened and I lifted my head to look around. I was wrapped in a cozy blanket with some bird feed next to me. I observed my surroundings and I again found myself in another building.

No! Not again!

I started to panic and jumped off the blanket, I frantically flew around the room looking for an escape. "WHERE THE HELL AM I?! WHO BROUGHT ME HERE! REVEAL YOURSELF!" I shouted.

"Calm down, you're making too much noise." Said a random and unfamiliar voice. You look to a table where you saw a larger, blue bird reading a book. "Who the hell are you?! Did you bring me here?! Release me!" You shouted, landing on another table and glaring at the unfamiliar bird. Just then, a human woman ran in, "Shh! Calm down! You're safe here." She said in a soothing voice. I glared at her, backing away when she reached out for me. She understood my unease and grabbed the bowl of bird feeder, putting it in front of me. Then, she grabbed a cup of water and slid it to me. "You must be hungry."

Suspicious, I glared at her before relenting and eating the food. I can't even remember the last time I ate.

And that's how I joined this odd little family.
