Don't you think it's strange?
How we watch the universe take the lead.
How we watch our life change.
How our future grows with the sown seed.
I find it quite enthralling -
How we wait patiently to see,
If we can continue falling,
Deeper into this love with glee.
It's strange how we hope.
But the universe fucks us over.
It makes us walk on a tightrope,
Picks on us and pushes us lower.
Strange how millions are bereft.
Heartbroken, we live in a constant glum.
We keep breaking, 'til we have nothing left.
Strange how we eventually become numb.
Don't you think it's strange?
