Matt's POV: once i got the notification that Jess had posted on her snap story i immediately opened it to see what she would even be posting on there considering we were in the midst of filming a car video. Seeing my Triplet brother Chris's Face on the screen next to her, as the story popped up on my phone. I couldn't even describe the current feelings going through my body right now. I look up from my phone directly into the camera that was recording feeling the overwhelming anger. Chris was currently speaking about something and i was not having it considering the situation.
Matt: CAN YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP
Chris: YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP
Nic: Oh my god
Madi: are you good Matt
Matt; honestly i want to be done with this can we go back home
Jess; Fine by me
Jess' POV: Matt is soo upset if only he knew i WANTED this to be him instead of Chris but there is just something about Chris that makes me feel safe and cared for ughh he's so stupid!! We finally got back to my house and madi had pulled me up to my room to talk about the obvious.
Madi: jess
Jess: what. What did I do
Madi: Chris for real
Jess: I don't know what you are talking about madi
Attempting to act in denial for my under the surface feelings for Chris despite being into his triplet brother
Madi: come on you like Chris don't you I thought you liked Matt thought that's all you would talk about when you first realized it.
Jess: I do like Matt and I don't like Chris what so ever he is literally my other half
Madi: do you not hear yourself
Jess: what it's true he's like my brother madi
Madi: okayy how did that happen you know you and him dating
Jess: we aren't dating I promise
Madi: what you guys are showing is something complete different though are you sure
Jess: YES madi I'm sure
She huffed out trying to be done with this conversation already not wanting to admit she likes both Chris and Matt making her eventually have to choose between them down the road
Madi: jess come on it's me your best friend Madi I know you and Chris and Matt are both your type and would treat you amazing I know it but you have to realize Matt sees what you two have and wants to be something with you
Jess: HE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING MADI
She exclaims sighing at her aching heart
Jess: like I want it to be him but I also want it to be Chris too madi
She finally confesses as madi looks at her with pure empathy. As the one and only Matthew Sturniolo walks in
Matt: hi uhh I was looking for you
Jess: hi uh yeah
She looks at madi to let her know she can leave
Jess: umm what's up
She states pushes someof her hair behind her ear avoiding Matt's eyes sitting down on her bed
Matt: uhh I wanted to ask you something
He states noticing her avoiding eye contact with him as he sits down next to her
Matt: are you and Chris actually dating you know because like-
Jess: no no we are not we were just being dumb it's nothing
She states shaking her head a little then finally looking at matt who now had a calmer posture.
Matt: oh okay I mean I just thought you guys were-
Jess: I mean no but I- it's nothing it's a little complicated is all.
She states shoving those feelings for Chris down in the process looking down as she finishes her sentence.
Matt: is it me
He replies as if he regard her whole conversation with Madi looking at her.
Jess: matt I no I mean no it's
She rambles out as he gives her a 'really' look
Matt: I heard you and madi
Jess: matt look I like you and I hope you know that but Chris
She cuts herself off trying to push those feelings down once again
Matt: well can I just say this now Jess I like you I just didn't know how to tell you I was just being
Jess: a stupid boy
She giggles out looking at him as his head is gazed down.
Matt: yeah.. I'm sorry
Jess: it's okay..
There was a complete silence that fell over the room and there was a moment. I looked over at Matt then back down at my hands.
Matt: Jess
Jess: yeah
She replies turning to look at him directly in his eyes holding eye contact for a minute before he pulled you in and kissed you. Little did we know this was the start to something I could never cope from.
