Chapter 9: Death of Frieza and Cold

It had been a few months since Daiko had achieved the legendary Super Saiyan form.

As he learned to master its aggressive nature, he decided it was his time to return to Earth.Once landing on the planet, Daiko was shocked to see a lot of things.

One, he learned that Raditz had gotten himself a girlfriend named Launch, as well as forming a good bond with Gohan and Chi Chi. Aside from that, Daiko found out that Vegeta was getting accustomed to the planet.

This wasn't the only information he found out as he soon discovered that a lavender haired man had warned them of the location where Goku would arrive.

Most of the Z-fighters alongside Vegeta, Bulma, and the mysterious warrior were waiting for the arrival.

However, a large ship resembling Frieza's ship from namek had landed in front of them. And out of it, Frieza, in a cyborg form and a second frost demon, King Cold, were in the air. However, they weren't alone. Multiple soldiers floated in the air in front of the Z-fighters.

Looking at the army before him, Daiko only smirked.

Daiko: "Tell me, Frieza... Do you believe that Kakarot was the only super saiyan?"

Being alert by this, Frieza had glared at Daiko in skepticism and fear.

Frieza: "Don't tell me?! No, it was only said to be one!"

Closing his eyes, Daiko still kept his smirk. With heat radiating off of his body, the ground beneath him cracked and rumbled. The Z-fighters and Vegeta had been alerted. However, the mysterious warrior unnoticeably smirked as if he were waiting for this moment.

Krillin: "There's no way Daiko became a... A Super Saiyan!"

Vegeta's shock had then turned to anger.

Vegeta: 'Damnit... First, it was the low-class Kakarot... And now it's Daiko... How can I be the prince if I'm upstaged by them... Damnit!'

Opening his eyes, Daiko shouted before being engulfed by a gold light. As if in a flash, Daiko was revealed with the same blonde hair and teal eyes of a super saiyan. The smirk on his face had gotten wider as his hair flowed in the wind.

Frieza: "N-no! It can't be!"

Yamcha: "He's a..."

Piccolo: "A Super Saiyan."

Floating into the air, Daiko had stuck out his hand, charging a chaotic magenta ball of energy. As the ball grew in size, Daiko then spoke.

Daiko: "Omega!"

Suddenly, the ball of energy had shrunk to that of a regular sized ki ball.

Daiko: "Bullets!"

Releasing his attack, multiple blasts of ki had decimated Frieza's soldiers, leaving only Frieza and King Cold.

Daiko: "Well, Frieza? Wanna die like the rest of your men?"

In anger and retaliation, Frieza had lifted his arm above his head, creating a super nova.

Frieza: "Die you worthless monkey!!"

Launching the supernova at Daiko, Frieza grinned maniacally as the attack landed on Daiko. However, his grinned turned to shock as he saw Daiko walk while holding the supernova in his right hand.

Daiko: "Is that it?"

Using his energy, Daiko had sent the giant orb of energy into the sky before having it explode. This was shortly followed by him appearing in front of Frieza, kneeing him in the stomach. Continuing his onslaught of attacks, Daiko had elbowed Frieza's head before throwing a right hook, sending Frieza crashing into the mountain. Cupping his hands, a bright blue ball of ki formed in his hands.

Daiko: "This one should be familiar, Frieza! .... Kaaa... Meeee..."

As Frieza got out of the mountain, he saw Daiko's attack get larger and brighter.

Daiko: "Haaa... Meeee..."

Wanting to move, Frieza was enraged when his body was stunned from fear.

Daiko: "Haaaa!"

As the beam raced towards the stunned Frieza, it had hit him. As Frieza yelled out in pain, a blue explosion was created from the attack.

Once the smoke cleared, Daiko was seen with a smirk as there was no trace of Frieza left.

Once he landed to the ground, Daiko had reverted back to his base form.As he looked back to the group of Z-fighters, he then spoke up.

Daiko: "Who wants to take on King Cold?"

Eventually, the purple haired warrior walked up.

???: "I'll take him."

As he powered up, his hair elevated to the air as his eyes turned teal.

Quickly yelling, the purple haired man had become a super saiyan as well.

As the mysterious super saiyan and Cold looked at each other, the frost demon spoke up.

Cold: "I can already tell... You're talend, boy... Seeing how the older super saiyan had easily defeated my son with no sweat. With at least one of your strengths, you'd make a fine addition to my clan. Think of it, you'd be a prince of magnificent worlds, and the universe would be at your disposal."

???: "Sounds pretty lame."

Cold: "You turn your nose at my offer? That's a shame. By the way, stranger, I'm curious about your sword. It must be quite a piece of workmanship. Might I take a closer look?... Come now, you're not afraid to be without it for a moment?"

Unsheathing his sword, Trunks threw it at King Cold, who caught it.

King Cold: "Just as I thought. This has been forged by a master. Unfitted, perhaps... I wonder how a super saiyan can stand against such a weapon as this?"

???: "Wanna test it out?"

As King Cold swung the sword at the mysterious super saiyan, the golden warrior had caught the blade one handed. As he did, he managed to push the frost demon back.

???: "Well, you're wrong. But you probably figured that one out."

Placing his hand near King Cold's side, the stange warrior charged a ki blast.

King Cold: "Wait, no!-"

However, it was too late. The blast had fired through King Cold. As the frost demon begged for his life, it was futile as the stanger had blown him up. Shortly after, the super saiyan had blown up the ship they arrived in.

As he did, he reverted back to his base form and looked back at the others.

???: "Hey, I'm heading over to where Goku's gonna land in a little bit. You guys can come if you want to. [Pointing to his left] It's this way. Yeah, I can pretty much show you exactly where he's touchdown."

After Goku had landed, the mysterious warrior whose name was Trunks informed them of the androids who would arrive in 3 years.

Trunks had also given Goku an antidote to a heart virus he'd have in the future. After this, Trunks had returned to his own time.

Because of this, the Z-fighters had a new reason to train and get stronger.
