Chapter 24 - The Second Round

After my name was called I was quickly wrapped in a tight hug from Karina.

Y/n: I'm guessing we are a team then? 

Karina: That's right. We aren't the only two though. 

I looked over to see the rest of my group introducing themselves to both AB6IX and Sunmi. I introduced myself to AB6IX and Sunmi just ruffled my hair. We were told to sit down by the staff there and upon doing so were given an envelope with information on what the second round was. 

Sunmi: So who is going to open it? 

Y/n: Noona I think you should. 

Sunmi: Me? Ok. 

She opened the envelope and took out a card inside. 

Sunmi: It just says one team of at minimum four to make a song performance and another at maximum of five to make a rap performance. 

Daehwi: So we should split into teams then right? Start with one from each group? 

Bonhwa: Which of you two are going into the rap performance then? 

Shin and I just exchanged looks before shrugging our shoulders. 

Sunmi: Can we vote then? 

Lao: Good idea noona.

Sunmi: I will vote for Y/n then. 

Bonhwa: How about you all vote? I don't think any of us can. 

After the votes were counted from the rest of the team voting it was decided that I would join the rap performance team. 

Woojin: So I will be going as our rep? 

Daehwi: Yep.

Y/n: Noona what are you going to do? 

Sunmi: I'm going to the song performance team. 

Y/n: Ah ok. So Aespas rep?

Gisselle: Me. 

Karina: But I wanna. 

Shin: There is a max of five members. I don't mind not being in the rap team. 

Y/n: Are you an idiot? 

Shin: What? 

Y/n: There are only four members if they both join. 

Shin: Oh...yeah...

Y/n: Do you wanna join? 

Shin: Wait a sec the four of you stand over there.

We did as he asked and stood at a side where the rest looked at us. 

Y/n: Why are we doing this? 

Shin: I'll join

Y/n: Why? 

Shin: The four of you looked good but I think it might get hectic if I joined.

Jaemin: That's a good thing?

Y/n: Alright. 

Woong: So that's one team sorted. 

The remaining people then sorted themselves into a team for the song performance. The team was decided to contain both remaining Aespa members, Sunmi, Bonhwa, Lao and Jaemin as well as Daehwi and Donghyun. We ended up splitting into smaller groups to talk about what we wanted to do with the performances.

Karina: Y/n. 

Y/n: Yeah? 

Karina: You produce for Mirage don't you?
