Keep in mind: Racking up cash and fans takes time. Expect the worst possible scenario, even if that's not the outcome, so you're not disappointed when diving in head first.

Set reasonable expectations: You may not be as successful as you planned, and that's okay. Keep trying. It might happen someday.

Make sure you're under copyright: Always have your book COPYRIGHTED because you never know who will take credit and benefit from YOUR HARD WORK. Unfortunately, It happens all the time.
