"It's raining," Dream mumbled, his hand outstretched in the downpour. "So?," Punz shrugged, unsure of why that mattered.
"I like the rain," Dream stepped out and into the water, hair and body immediately drenched with rain. He didn't seem to mind though as a smile etched onto his face.
"You'll catch a cold," Punz warned, watching with fond eyes as Dream tilted his head up to the sky.
"It's worth it," Was all Dream said.
The pair fell into comfortable silence, the only noise being the rain pattering on the ground and Punzs' horse huffing from her place of safety under a tree.
Dream turned his head to the side when he heard footsteps. His eyes lit up at Punz who was now standing next to him, blonde hair stuck to his forehead.
"You're such a idiot," Punz uttered under his breath, copying Dream and looking up to the dark, stormy sky.
Dream hummed contently before refocusing on the rain. He couldn't help but smile when a warm hand grabbed his own.
"I know," Dream replied, closing his eyes.
He couldn't think of anywhere he'd rather be.
