Backstory: when luna was born, her parents hated her because she wasn't a boy and by the time she was 2 they began abusing her and even began punishing her for things she didn't even do. Luna attempted to run away many times but each time she was brought back and severely beaten. Eventually when she was turned 17 she met shoto who saved her from her parents and treated her with kindness, so she became attached to shoto and wanted to stay as close to him as possible, in fear that her parents would come back for her.
