𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒌𝒖𝒔𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒅

You narrowed your eyes, squinting at the Deksuquad, who were all hanging out on the other side of the grounds.

Sero was laughing at a joke Midoriya had made, but you could tell it was fake.

"Whatcha looking at?" Mina asked playfully, sticking her head in front of you and blocking your view.

"Move," you laughed, shoving her to the side.

"Ohh, I get it." Mina said slyly, "You're spying on Sero."

"You got it." you said sarcastically, "I don't know... It just looks so wrong. He doesn't belong with them."

"For real." Mina agreed, "But there's nothing we can do. He made his choice."

"I'm not so sure." you frowned.

The first thing you needed to know was if Sero still had feelings for Todoroki. Actually, scrap that; You could see him blushing at the half-and-half boy.

The real question was how Momo managed to pull Todoroki.

"I think you and I need to do some investigating," you said, grinning at your best friend.

Mina grinned back, thinking the same thing as you.

For the entire school day, you and Mina watched Momo and Todoroki, assessing their interactions.

"Is it just me... or does he look kinda sad?" Mina asked quietly.

"I'm gonna go talk to him," you said determinedly.

"Wait- no! Y/N wait!" Mina shouted after you, but you had already got up and walked towards the boy's desk.

"Hi Todoroki!" you smiled, standing in front of the seated boy.

He looked up in surprise.

"Oh, hello L/N," he said politely.

"Do you mind if we talk after class finishes? Just wait for me when Aizawa-Sensei dismisses us."

"Sure." Todoroki agreed curiously.

You walked back to Mina, smirking.

"I'm gonna ask him after class and see what I can find out. You should do the same with Momo- then we can exchange information on call." you explained.

"Good idea!" Mina said excitedly, "Hold on."

"Momo!" the pink girl shouted.

Momo looked at Mina questioningly, just as Aizawa walked into the classroom.

"Stay behind after class." Mina mouthed.

Momo nodded and turned her attention to the front of the room.

"Listen up, everyone." Aizawa sighed, "As you all know, this is the last week of Winter Term. You'll have a month-long vacation, as usual, and will be returning to school on the first of February. Write that down now."

Everyone hurriedly scribbled down the date in their books.

"And also a reminder that your end-of-year exams will be taking place in July. I'll be taking in your College and/or University applications on the first day back. So don't forget them." Aizawa said sternly.

You internally groaned; You'd have to spend a fair portion of your holiday writing your University application.

"We're still applying for the same one, right?" Mina whispered.

"Duh." you whispered back.

"Stop talking." Aizawa glared, making both of you jump.

"And before we start today's lesson, a final announcement," your homeroom teacher continued, "Principal Nezu and the rest of the staff have decided on which students will be this year's Big Three."
