AUSTIN AND Eastyn were at the mini golf park, Eastyn was sucking real bad, "I've never seen someone fail miserably at mini golf more than you," Austin chuckled as he placed one hand on his hip.
Eastyn playfully rolled her eyes, "shut up" she mumbled. Tee placed both her hands on the golf bat, but received a disapproving look from Austin.
"here" she could feel his breath on her neck, making goosebumps run down her neck. He held her hands as he placed them where they were meant to be, before placing his hands on her waist to help her stand in the right position.
The girl mumbled a thank you before hitting the ball using her bat, and surprisingly it went in the hole. She cheered as she jumped up and down, "oh my god!" she chuckled
" with the help of my amazing mini golf skills"
" sure whatever" she chuckled, now glancing up at the boy.
Tension grew as the two stared at each other for a quick minute, which felt like forever to them. The boy slowly and hesitantly leaned down to be met with her height, and quickly pressed their lips together, cupping her cheeks as he did so.
At first, tee enjoyed it. But after 2 seconds, she felt like this was not it. Not the person she was supposed to be kissing. she was thinking of someone else, someone she forbids herself to even look at.
No Eastyn, she thought to herself, this is what you want right?
to distract herself, she grabbed onto his shirt collar, pulling him closer as she shut her eyes hoping this was a good enough distraction
The two finally let go, "woah" the boy said breathlessly, the two still close together.
She smiled at him, but something was stopping her from smiling 100%. Why would life give you what you want but bring you down with your thoughts? For once in her life a great guy was there for her but she wanted things complicated. Of course she did
" I- um" she stuttered, "sorry" she whispered.
" nah your good" he smiled, now pulling away , "where'd you learn to kiss like that?"
" a magician never tells its secret!" she replied, receiving a laugh from the boy.
