"Aww! Isn't Tanjiro cute with her?" Cooed Kanae as she watched her adopted little sister with Y/N's Little Brother

"Mhm, nice to see Tanjiro make friends.."

If Y/N was being honest, he was afraid Tanjiro would feel lonely as he had to move out from his hometown. Sure he had his siblings but some of his friends back at his hometown were close to him. Though knowing Tanjiro, he knew that his brother could make friends easily as he was much more talkative than his older brother and much more...Social

"Anyways...I just came to visit since Tanjiro wasn't feeling too well yesterday."

"Oh, Don't worry he'll be fine." Kanae assured him "It's not a strong sickness, just some fever. He's feeling better today now though."

"I see.." Y/N turned to Kanae "If it's okay with you...may I..—"

"You may." She stepped aside "I'll be in my office for now, Bye~!" She waved before turning

"Are you sure you're feeling alright?"

"It's okay Big Brother!" Tanjiro gave a thumbs up "I'll be fine! I must've overworked myself, maybe that's why I became sick.."

"Maybe.." Y/N sighed "You should really rest, you're lucky we live near the butterfly mansion.."

"I know, sorry Brother..I just..Want to make sure you don't have to do any more housework after you finish your work."

"Tanjiro, Like I said before, I'll be fine. You don't have to overwork yourself for my sake..."

Tanjiro looked down "I know but..I just want to help. You come home everyday with little scars, protecting us from demons...But...I want to do it also. I want to protect Mother and the others from Demons, I want to...Help you also.."

"Tanjiro, you know that I...—"

"I- I know! But...I just want to.." Tanjiro sighed "I know Father said that nobody should follow the dangerous path of becoming a Demon Slayer but...It's just that every time I go out..I sometimes.." He takes a deep breath

"I sometimes feel like something or someone is watching me from the forests...I smell..An intense amount of bloodlust sometimes, I even smell it when I'm home. That smell of intense bloodlust always appears when you're away and it...scares me."
