Luca

When I got the call Maeve and Allena were in danger I was freaking out. I'm used to worrying about Maeve, but I didn't think Allena would be a problem.

I was wrong.

I wanted to make sure she was ok every fucking second of the night. I knew she'd probably kill me if I did though.

I know she's been avoiding me and I'd be lying to say I wasn't avoiding her. I brought her here to take a break. She's so organized all the time and sometimes it makes her an ass.

So, I make her my famous hangover tea and knock her door. "What?" She snaps from the other side. I gently nudge it open to see she's sitting at her makeup vanity, frustrated. "What are you doing?" I mumble, slightly amused.

"I look like shit. I feel like shit." She growls, still staring at herself. "I'm fucking pissed." I chuckle and she sends me a harsh glare. "Sorry, sorry." I mumble, setting down the tea. "This is for you." She looks at it and then looks away. "I don't like tea." She growls, picking up her mascara. "I don't care, drink it. And then change into a bathing suit we're going somewhere."

"I don't want to anywhere." She snaps. "I don't care." I smirk, leaning against her doorframe. "You made me get up at three in the morning to pick your drunk ass up, I practically saved your life. You owe me a few hours."

"I hate you." Is all she says before slamming the door in my face. I smirk, knowing I've won and walk to my room to change into my swim trunks.

"Luca Luca Luca!" Tiny voices scream, my door is pushed open and the twins run in, both out of breath.

"What's wrong, girls?" I ask, walking over to them. "Are you hurt?"

"No, silly. We're bored." Callie shrugs, crossing her arms. "Mhm." Eleni nods, tilting her head. "Well, how about I ask Maeve to take you shopping?" I ask. Their eyes both explode.

"For knives?" Callie asks. "For pink and purple stuffies?" Eleni asks at the same time. "Knives?" I ask. "Duh." Callie shrugs. "I need to start practicing now. It's imperative." I don't even know what the fuck imperative means.

"Hi, Laney!" I look up and see Allena wearing a sleek red bikini covered by a pretty much see through black coverup. "Hey girls." She smiles, kneeling down to them. They immediately burrow themselves into her body and she gives them kisses on their heads. When she's with them it's the only time I see her loosen up.

"Are you going swimming, Laney?" Eleni asks her. "I hope not." Allena sighs, giving me a glare. I chuckle. "Don't worry girls, I'm going to take very good care of your sister, ok?"

"Pink promise?" Eleni squeaks. I smile and hold out my pink to interlock with her tiny one. She smiles and then, to my suprise, runs into my body, wrapping her arms around me. "Thank you, Luca." She whispers softly. "Why are you thanking me, baby?" I chuckle. She doesn't say anything else, just pulls away and stands up on her tippy toes to give me a kiss on my cheek.

Allena stares hard at me, but I can tell her thoughts are somewhere else. "I heard there's chocolate cake down stairs." I smile. Both of them squeal and run out the door, their little feet padding down the hall.

"Allena." I whisper. Nothing. "Allena." I gently touch her arm and she quickly flinches away. "Sorry I didn't mean to..." I start. "I'm fine. Can we just get this over with?" She asks.
