Waking up in the hospital bed the next day jay was asleep on the pull out bed with his feet hanging off the bed.
My nurse Becca walked in to check on my vitals and other things just to make sure my shoulder is ok.
"Do you want me to wake him up after I get a cleaning pad?" My nurse asked backing up from him since my iv was on the same side of the room as the pull out couch.
"It's ok I'll wake him up." After Becca left to get a heating pad for my shoulder I threw my heel at his back
"Stop." Jay mumbled under the cover
"Then get up, you shouldn't be mean to me I just took a bullet for you." I groaned as I sat up
"I could've sworn I never said to jump in front of me" he stood up and got into the bed with me letting me lay on his chest
"Be grateful, you could've died I'm not ready for that" I mumbled rubbing his stomach
He stayed quiet but rubbed my back and kiss my forehead. We sat in comfortable silence until my nurse came back with my heating pad.
"Your gonna get off the bed for a minute, once I get her settled you can get back on the bed."
Jay got off the bed but stood close to watch every little thing happening. "I will kill you if you hurt her" jay stepped closer next to me
"Oh god" I chuckled as I watched the girls hands start to shake as she was done
"Press the red button if you need anything. There's a menu in the drawer you can use the phone to call down to the kitchen."
she walked out of the room but stayed at the door for a minute probably to take a deep breathe. I felt jay get back into my bed and put his hands over my waist.
"I'm a virgin." I mumbled getting closer to him.
If he's going to be here with me or be my boyfriend I might as well get comfortable with him mentally and physically.
Before he could respond my family and coi walked into the room with my mom holding red roses aka my favorite.
"My baby" my mom smothered me with kisses while my dad stood behind her waiting for his turn.
"Mommy" I whined giving her a little push away from my face.
"Stop pushing me, my baby almost died" she stepped back and put the flowers on the table and stood next to solange while my dad came up to me
"I'm glad your ok" he kissed my forehead before rubbing my hand. "How do you feel bey?" Solo spoke up
"I feel ok, I have a headache but it's ok. Are you ok?" I watched her tear up so with jays help I sat up letting her lay in my arms
"No I was so scared" she laid her head on my chest putting her arms around me which made jay get out of the bed to make room for her
"I'm going to get breakfast from McDonald's" jay grabbed his things waiting for everyone to say what they wanted
"For everyone" he finished since everyone looked at him like he was dumb
"Plate of hot cakes and a hot coffee, two sugars only" my father said getting the money out
"A McGriddle and McFlurry" my mom agreed on the same thing as solange.
Jay gave me a kiss before ignoring my dad and his money to leave and get the food. "Get forgot the money." My dad spoke up
"He's going to pay for it, I'll just eat the hospital food." I gave solange a kiss on her simple but she was falling asleep
"Hi coi" I spoke to her since she was standing by the door with whole another outfit on.

"Hey" she spoke with a quiet voice clearly shy but the total opposite of her brother jay. Coi kept her eyes on solange who was still asleep
"You can sit down" my mom pulled out a chair and sat on the couch next to my dad. "My favorite song is not my nigga by kenTheMan" coi rushed out
"My favorite would have to be fake love by tink or FTU by latto and glorilla" I smiled at her simply telling her she doesn't have to be uncomfortable around us
"My favorite song is nasty by latto" solo mumbled in my chest. I honestly thought she fell asleep
"Mines is you rock my world by MJ" my dad kissed my moms hand while she blushed at the action.
"I think mines would be love 2 love or rope burn by Janet Jackson." My mom said looking directly at my dad
"Nasty ass"
"Once you lose your Cherry then you'll know what I'm talking about" my mom said making a subtle hint to jay
"You still have your v card? Is it not normal to lose it at 8?" Coi looked at me surprised
Should I be worried about her?
"No- no honey it's not what happen?" My mom asked coi concerned.
"Nothing happened, let me talk to you coi." jay stood by the door with 2 bags of food in his hand you can tell he was irritated that coi opened her mouth.
"I'll be back- I'm sorry" coi stood up and rushed out the room while jay put the food down and followed her

(Coi pov)
"Didn't I tell you not to speak about that" jay rubbed his face and leaned against the wall while I stood across from him looking at my shoes
"You know I didn't grow up around a lot of people like you jay. This is all new to me" I started to tear up because I hate it when my favorite person is mad at me
"Come here." Stepping closer to him I felt him pull me into his chest and kiss my temple. I wrapped my arms around him and wiped my face on his shirt.
"I'm sorry. I just don't want you talking about that with them I'm happy your warming up to them but you have to remember he is dead and I'll do it 10,000 times more, ok?" Jay spoke in a soft tone
"Mhm" I wiped my face and made sure I looked like I wasn't crying
"Come on" he grabbed my hand as we walked back into the room with the family eating they're food.
