Hey you guys🤟I know it has been a looooong while, I'm really sorry, I had a bit of a writers block😪it happens so please don't be too upset with me.

I just want you guys to know that I do read you comments and some of them make me laugh😂

Aria's POV

It's weird, so very weird yet adorable. Matteo was getting to know the kids by playing with them and because the kids know him from the last time they met they were very comfortable with him. They don't know that he is their dad yet. Matteo and I sat down and spoke, I was shocked to see him calm through out everything and he told me that he's going to be in their lives. Nobody else knows that the triplets are his except his parents and Damien, not even Lisa who has been preoccupied with taking care of her own baby.

"He seems different with the kids" I snap out of my thoughts and turn to the voice behind me, it was Lauren. She sits beside me on the patio

"Yeah" was all I could say

"I'm guessing that you're not fully happy about this"

"No no I am, its just....although I'm relieved that I no longer have to hide the kids from him. I still can't shake the feeling that something bad is gonna happen" Lauren didn't say anything, but I could tell by the look on her face that she agreed with me

"I mean Matteo is a Mafia Don, my kids are most likely to get hurt in these things and I don't want that happening which was one of the reasons I never told him about them, to keep them safe and not have to grow up around so much violence" I dropped my head on my arms feeling anxiety and fear. I felt a hand rubbing my back

"Its okay dear, if that does happen Matteo will stop at nothing to protect the ones he love." I looked at Lauren and before I could say something the kids ran up to me laughing and screaming.

"Mommy aiutaci , Matteo wants to eat us"(help us)I smiled and saw Matteo running up to us making the kids tighten their hold on my clothes

"You think your mother can save you, No one can escape me you little beans" the kids let go and ran the other direction and Lauren was too busy smiling at the scene to notice me walking into the house and into my room. I was about to close my door when a hand stopped it. I was suprised to see that it was Matteo, I thought he was playing with kids. He enters the room and closes the door he leans his back on it with his hands in his pocket and looks at me.

"Why are you here? I thought you were playing with the kids" I turn around and head to bed facing away from him. I hear him walk toward the bed and sit behind me. I turn my body and see that he's already staring at me. I don't look away but stare right back at him even though his beautiful grey eyes mesmerize me, I still try not to waver

"I don't ever want you to think I'm not able to protect our kids" I look away feeling embarrassed that he knew what me and his mom were talking about she must have told him. I felt his hand take a strand of my hair and put it behind my ear.

"I don't want you ever thinking I'm not going to protect you" why would he want to protect me, I'm nothing to him

"Why, why would you want to protect me? your mother said you only protect those you love" he furrowed his eyebrows

"Aria I care about you. I protect those I care about and you're are who I care about. You are the mother of my kids which makes you family" he wiped a stray tear I didn't even know was there

"When are we going to tell the kids that I'm their father?" I honestly didn't mind telling them now

"How about now" he looked at me shocked

"Really?" I sat up on the bed and nodded, he smiled and got up

"I'm gonna go call the kids in here then" he left the room and I could see how excited he was to introduce himself to the kids as their father, honestly I didn't know how to feel. I hope I'm making the right decision
