Love and Guns

Chapter 1

Rouge’s pov:

I looked around for my dear friend Shadow, he left and said he’d be back, but who am I to believe that? 

I looked around the deep dark destroyed halls of the G.U.N station that we recently destroyed together, I realized while searching for him I can look for jewels and shiny things too! I probably won’t because of how disgustingly dirty this place is but, I’ll figure out a way. 

“Movement detected” I hear, I stand still and listen for it again.

“Movement detected. Scanning building.” it says again, just then I hear:

stomp stomp

It sounded almost metallic as I peeked into a room and found Omega, a robot I had previously worked with in the past, I smile and walk towards him confidently.

“Rouge the Bat detected. Safe.” He stomps towards me.

“Well helloooo nurse!” I shout, smiling glad to see someone in this empty place.

We hear a shuffling sound in a room nearby and hurry to check it out. Once there we see a green hawk lying on the ground, he shrieks when he sees us and pulls out a communicator but I quickly fly towards him and kick it away.

“Why are you on the floor?” I ask, narrowing my eyes at him, I put a foot on top of his chest and he grunts.

“They’re here…”He coughs weakly and his breathing gets shaky. I look at him confused, ugh, probably a lunatic…

“They’re here…” He repeats pointing a shaky finger behind me, I look behind me thinking he was pointing at Omega but then I see Eggman dropping a metal cage over my head. 

“EGGMAN!” I scream banging on the iron bars as he hooks it up on his Eggmobile. I look at Omega who seems to have been deactivated. Great, there goes my help.

“Thanks Jet, glad you took those acting classes like I told you!” He bellows and starts laughing, “You were so easy to capture!”

“My pleasure.” The hawk named Jet squawks, he stands up as if he hadn’t just been acting hurt. 

I reach into my pocket, find my gun, aim, and shoot him between the eyes, he falls backward screeching before finally quieting. 

I smile in pleasure. “That’s what’ll happen to you when I get out.”

I hear him start laughing as if he wasn’t expecting me to get out…Unless he wants me to contact them… This must be a trap for them, not me! Of course! His plans are always so obvious and stupid. I worked with him once as a double agent. I worked for him and told Sonic everything he did and we beat Eggman because of me! But I’ll still have to play smart…I’ll wait a few days before I contact Shadow. I have to tell him about Omega though, if Eggman hopefully isn’t going to take him with us.

“You think you’re getting out? If you do, my robots will kill you!” He gets into a laughing fit.

I aim my gun to the ceiling of the cage and shoot, I hear Eggman shriek and I laugh. “Not if I kill them first, Eggy!”

“Don’t you dare call me that!” He shrieks again, “Also don’t do that again!”

“What are you gonna do about it, StinkEgg?” I chuckle knowing his response will be weak.

“I’ll kill you!” He snarls, obviously angered.

 I called it! His response was weak! 

I point my gun to the ceiling once again and fire off another shot, he shrieks again and I start to laugh again. “Not if I kill you first!”

“THAT’S IT! ORBOT, TAKE THE GUN!” He yells slamming a fist on his Eggmobile.

The red flying robot reaches into the cage and snatches my gun before I can react. I puff out my lower lip, crossing my arms.

“Party pooper, something tells me I’m going to hate it at your house. It’s probably stupid. Wait, does it have any jewels or chaos emeralds?” I say having a small spark of hope that I’ll at least get something out of this. 

“What? Why? I’m kidnapping you and you’re worried about riches?” He shouts in complete shock.

“Riches are a girl's best friend.” I say pretending to look at my nails. I almost laugh at myself because I’m wearing gloves, maybe I should paint them black or pink, this white is kind of boring and it’s the color of everyone else’s gloves!

I hear him growl.

“What? No, stop. Besides, even if I did, I'm not giving them to you, you’re a gross bat and gross bat’s don’t get stuff from me!” Eggman says his ugly voice laced with disgust. 

“You’re giving me a place to stay.” 

“I’m kidnapping you! Why are you unfazed?"

“I’ve been through worse than you, besides I’m 5 star everyone loves me!” I say smiling with confidence.

“They only like you because of your one polygon!”

“Well whatever works.” I say, I don’t mind the fact that everyone likes me just for my body, if it works it works, I know my roommates don’t care though. Shadow hates when I flirt with him, he gets so pissy. Omega is a literal robot. 

I’m distracting him so much I feel him start to go up and forget about Omega, perfect, if Shadow actually kept his word, he’ll find Omega, once I’m at Eggman’s I’ll tell him I’m going somewhere for a little while.

I hear Eggman scoff in disgust as he flies his Eggmobile home, or I should say his home. 

I sit down to ‘enjoy’ the ride.
