Third Person POV

None of Beam's friends dared to ask Beam about the shocking hate statement Beam made to Forth during the second week of the Moon and Stars meeting. Even after two weeks later.

After all, Beam was no different from them.

If he hated Forth, then Forth was alone in this matter.

In addition, Phana thought that was a proper punishment for Forth for trying to hinder his relationship with Wayo from the first day they met.

Kit is silent too. He doesn't like how their gang is drifting away from the Engineering gang because the gang are great to hang out with and often throw amazing parties. And he—despite not wanting to admit it publicly— was dating their junior. But he was afraid of Beam's anger.

Kit doesn't want to join in on the hate just because he advised them to make up with the rest of the gang. Especially when Phana was still biased about Forth-Wayo. And Wayo makes it worse by worshiping Forth a little too much even if he loves Phana.

The three of them chatted in the Medical Foodcourt as usual. It's not every day that Phana will have lunch with Wayo or Kit with Ming, sometimes they still eat here, and sometimes Ming and Wayo stop by.

And then Phana's movement stopped when he saw three Engineering students walking into their foodcourt. His seat was facing the main entrance so he saw it, unlike Beam and Kit who sat in front of him.

Forth and his two friends stopped by their table on Beam's side. "Ai'Beam...." Forth called out to him.

Beam glanced briefly. The teasing smile that was usually always on his lips was gone now.

He continued to eat as if nothing happened. He refused to look at Forth.

Kit blinked nervously. Hell, Beam was scary, but he was pretty sure Forth was scary too. Ordinary people would get mad if they were ignored, let alone Forth! So he shifted himself slowly and carefully from Beam's side and moved across, to Phana's side.

"Beam, why do you hate me?" Forth asked. "What did I do?"

He asked the question that had haunted him for the past few weeks without a greeting like 'hey' or anything.

Beam blinked. He put down his spoon. He looked up to meet Forth's eyes. "You don't remember?"

Ford's eyes widened. "I really did something? What was it? I'm sorry." He says.

Beam sighed. He got up, grabbed his things and walked away. Leaving his two friends and three Engineering students speechless.

They all froze.

Damn.

And Forth turned to Phana and Kit. "What do I do?" he asked them.

Phana blinked. He doesn't know anything.

Kit shook his head. He didn't know either.

Forth sighed. His brows knit together tightly. And then he remembered something. "Ah, right, Pha...." he turned to Phana.

"What?" Phana asked coldly.

"So... I heard you approached Yo?" Ford asked.

Phana flinched. "It's official now. He's my boyfriend." Phana hiss.

"Owh? Congratulations." Forth tapped Phana's shoulder. He even smiled. "I'm happy for you. You should throw a party to celebrate."

Park and Lam couldn't believe that Forth congratulated Phana just like that. But they only raised their eyebrows.
